Position : Junior Network Engineer - Data Center Operations

Job Summary:

The Junior Network Engineer will be an integral part of our data center operations team, responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure within our secure data center environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in network engineering and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design and deployment of network infrastructure within the data center environment, under the guidance of senior engineers.

2. Support day-to-day network operations, including troubleshooting network issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and responding to service requests.

3. Work closely with senior engineers to implement security measures such as firewall configurations, access control lists (ACLs), and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

4. Monitor network performance and assist in capacity planning efforts to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

5. Participate in the implementation of network upgrades and expansion projects, following established procedures and best practices.

6. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain an accurate record of network operations.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and services into the data center environment.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- CCNA is required

- Previous experience or coursework in network engineering, data center operations, or related fields is a must.

- Basic understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.

- Familiarity with networking hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls is a must.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Salary: $3,000 - $4,000
Working Timing: Monday to Friday – 9 am to 6 pm
Working Location: Near Aljunied / MacPherson / Paya Lebar MRT

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Min 2 years relevant experience
• Experience in project management (Able to handle Projects ), A&A works, M&E services, As-Built drawing, site supervision and coordination, compliances, and regulations.
• Knowledge / Related Experience in ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection System, Plumbing and Sanitary Services, and installation of M&E Services on site

Responsibilities:

• Maintains project team accomplishments by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; obtaining expert input; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports; escalating project completion impediments.
• Day-to-day management on site, including supervising and monitoring the site and co-ordinate sub-contract works.
• Liaise with clients and consultants on project.
• Produce proper reports and documentation before and after project completion.
• Complies with codes and regulations by complying with requirements; preparing permit applications, plans, and compliance reports.
• Assist to update of As-Built drawing on site.
• And all other General Administration works as instructed.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor customer trial lot running and qualification schedule
• Making engineering documentation and instruction document to production
• Maintain the integrity of engineering documentation and specification
