What you will be working on

Manage Facility:

• Ensuring that the facility is in compliance with GMP regulations. This includes developing and implementing procedures and processes, maintaining accurate and up to date records and documentation, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance, reporting incidences and preparing reports and data as required by management or to regulatory authorities.
• Assist to manage equipment- and system-related investigations, CAPAs, deviations change controls and to review records.

Maintain workplace safety & health (WSH):

• Adhere with WSH management system and risk management plan, conducting regular safety inspections, addressing safety concerns, and coordinating with security personnel to prevent unauthorized access or other security threats.
• Evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
• Manage risk in the workplace, recommend, implement actions, and review effectiveness of measures to improve WSH performance and control risks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the cloud operations team, ensuring 24/7 availability and optimal performance of AWS cloud environments.
• Oversee daily cloud operations, including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain best practices for AWS cloud architecture, security, scalability, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
• Manage cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient use of AWS resources.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security policies and manage the implementation of security controls.
• Serve as the escalation point for critical cloud infrastructure issues, leading incident response efforts and communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct capacity planning and ensure cloud infrastructure can scale to meet business demands.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) to manage cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and high-availability best practices.
• AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are preferred.

Job Scope

• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ocean freight department and resolve any operational-related problem.
• Lead and supervise the Ocean operation team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Support Ocean Business Development and Trade Lane Management.
