We provide customized service to our clients and enable our business to grow the Asset Management franchise across traditional and alternative products. Our teams execute within a front to back operating model, delivering support across the client, product, and investment lifecycle. Asset Management Operations

We provide customized service to our clients and enable our business to grow the Asset Management franchise across traditional and alternative products. Our teams execute within a front to back operating model, delivering support across the client, product, and investment lifecycle. We also conduct risk oversight, provide change management, business intelligence, and market solutions for the division.

Role Summary & Responsibilities

As a Shareholder Services Asia Client Services Manager, you will work closely with Shareholder Services and relevant stakeholders across the region, managing investors / client facing teams to ensure service delivery is maintained at a highest quality. Additionally, you will support other Shareholder Services functions in onboarding new clients, protecting and maintaining existing clients. Plan and lead the end to end process of implementation & transition events including client onboarding and change, asset take-on / take-off activities, and account terminations.

• Project-management approach to client onboarding & change events including complex portfolio structures across the asset classes.
• Partner with Shareholder Services team colleagues and in some instances sales organization to ensure a seamless client onboarding from front to back and liaise with multiple parties to bring about execution of a transaction
• Communicate with internal & external parties and teams, provide advice and consulting with all participant parties on all aspects of onboarding and change events.

• Develop expertise in the Firm's Anti Money Laundering/Customer Identification Program due diligence policies involving country specific requirements

• Assist SBL Lenders in underwriting all facilities secured by clients’ investment portfolios, including new requests, annual reviews, and monitoring of ongoing credit risk events such as margin calls, document credit exceptions, and unauthorized excesses in accordance with the Credit and Risk policies of the Private Bank.

• Analyze collateral pool and grade appropriately per credit policy, including ability to flag any credit exceptions or non-standard terms for review

• Handle credit documentation, including preparation, liaising with internal legal on documentation drafting, signature verification, scanning, and filing.

• Monitor and review the loan portfolio, regularize excesses (shortfalls) as per the Credit guidelines, regulations, credit policies, and guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with the Credit Underwriting team, Credit Executives, and other stakeholders on exception handling for credit facilities extended to Asia Private Banking clients.

• Assist Lenders in pipeline management and other strategic initiatives.

• Explore and develop automation opportunities for existing reports using Intelligent Automation tools like Alteryx, Python, Unqork, UiPath and Xceptor.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines

• Maximum 2 years of relevant work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution

• High-level analytical skills - able to use qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations.

• Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.

• High level of attention to detail with good time management.

• Teamwork ethic and focus; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Hands on knowledge of credit documentation preparation is a plus

• Knowledge and/or experience of KYC and cross-border regulatory issues.

• Good understanding of PB credit products, financial markets, and the securities industry.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python would be a strong plus.
