This growth oriented position will have the primary responsibility of providing the full range of fund administration services to private equity and private credit team. This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information.  A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:

• Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other request

The Director, BPO for SMT will be entrusted with a broad portfolio of responsibilities to accelerate growth, drive and mitigate both short and long-term opportunities and challenges to ensure the cluster’s business performance is optimized.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Country and Functional leadership teams within SMT, as well as their broader teams across the region, to understand market landscapes, assist with Go-to-Market strategies that can help accelerate growth in their respective markets, and execute key strategic initiatives, including but not limited to business/market expansion, organizational re-design, multi-year strategic planning, and capability building. The successful candidate will also work in close collaboration with the corporate functions, to develop and manage scorecards and targets, performance management measures and metrics, and develop reporting and executive communication formats and cadences. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Planning and Operations for SMT.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Summary

The Regional Director Security Operations (RDSO) is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team that executes a global security operations program for a multi-national IT organization. Services provided include security operations, safety, budget and financial execution, logistics, and employee recruitment, onboarding and training. The security operations program is comprised of regional security man-guarding functions, a security operations center, development and management of security operations metrics, branch liaison, personnel management and driving key security operations projects and initiatives for datacenters on a multi $100M global Client account. Direct reports may include field based Regional Security Managers, as well as shared services/program management resources to include Regional Operations Coordinator, Security Design PMOs and other Security Operations personnel. The RDSO is accountable for datacenter security operations service delivery, enhancing safety culture, driving innovation and process change across the program and staff engagement and development. The RDSO is expected to advance operational security and business relevancy while collaborating with the client, fellow RDSOs, Securitas business divisions, associate contractors, global business partners, and other supporting teams. This position reports directly to the Global Director of Operations.

Essential Functions

1. Strategically aligns a multi-disciplinary team into a singular, cohesive group; prioritized to meet the client’s data center security operations requirements.
2. Anticipates, develops, drives, and operationalizes the business’ most strategic priorities to meet service requirements, exceed quality targets and optimize field security operations effectiveness.

• Preparation and Review of Net Asset Value calculation and reportings. 
• Coordinate investor servicing activities. Including investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reportings.
• Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations
• Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and developing solutions for issues
• Preparation and review of financial statements and footnotes for audit purpose
• Liase with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
• Involved in new funds on-boarding process
• Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other request
• Resolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
• Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency
• Ensure teams adhere to controls and processes/procedures for the purpose of NAV computation
• Ensure that all client deliverables are on time and meet set quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above

JOB PURPOSE:

As the Head of Asia Pacific Distribution Centre (APDC), this position is a key member of the Asia Operations leadership team who plays a critical role in important strategic and management decisions relating to APDC operations. This position has full responsibility and accountability of overall performance for APDC with regards to quality, productivity, service level as well as budgetary control. With clear directions, this position will establish performance goals and develop corresponding objectives and action plan to ensure achievement.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the Distribution Centre’s operations, continuous improvement to bring Distribution Centre to next level.

2. Develop long-range objectives and strategies for the distribution centre, monitor performance against these objectives and provide leadership, feedback, supports, motivates, directions and retains high-caliber staff.

3. Define information systems requirements to support process improvements initiates. Integrate the technology, quality, purchasing and logistics functions to support product and process excellence.

4. Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and cope with demand fluctuation while optimizing quality and delivery time. Focus on key performance areas such as OTD (on-time-delivery), LTR (lead-time-reduction), productivity and cost improvement. Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.

5. Ensure built-in quality in all operating processes and enforce discipline of compliance, including all quality related certification programs. Ensure effective corrective actions, timely implementation to avoid recurring problems.

6. Develop and manage annual operations budgets. Manage logistics and outbound transportation processes, negotiate parcel freight programs.

7. Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.

8. Strive to achieve world-class supply chain, warehousing, forward and reverse logistics operations.

9. Promotes “total customer satisfaction” (delivery, quality etc.) within all Operations teams.

10. Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and presents suggestions to Regional MD and Global VP Operations for consideration.

11. Build an open and honest communication line with the organization, interact regularly with executive team and individual department heads to ensure that company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.

12. Work in partnership with sales & marketing teams to ensure cost effective approach in order fulfilment.

13. Represent Asia to be part of the global DC management team on business update and best practices sharing on a regular basis.

14. Develop and implement ongoing staff performance and career development programs.

15. Prepare and submit monthly reports to the Management.

16. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment at the Distribution Centre(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

· Master/bachelor’s degree on logistics/operations management preferred.

EXPERIENCES

· 10+ years of broad logistics and supply chain management experience in progressively senior positions.

· solid working experience on DC operations management in MNC environment.

· Experience with New DC setup or relocation, Brown/Greenfield project is preferred.

· Experience supporting and developing emerging markets.

· Experience directing the operations in a multi-site supply chain system.

· Ability to manage Third Party Logistics (3PL), freight companies and other logistics suppliers.

· Supplier negotiation skills, proven cost reduction efforts and experience with contracts.

· Demonstrable analytical abilities to assess financial impacts of any changes to logistics service requirements.

· In depth knowledge and experience with key supply chain/logistics processes, best practices, and implementing process improvements.

· Relevant experience and knowledge on ISO9120, ISO14000 and ESD S20.20.
