• Oversee AP functions and responsible for AR & GL.
• Assist to oversee subsidiaries accounts and handles inter-company reporting and reconciliations at subsidiaries level.
• Prepare monthly & annual inventory reconciliation between inventory control and ledger accounting system
• Ensure compliance with the statutory tax requirements, including preparing necessary tax returns and quarterly tax computations.
• Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office application and Sage is an advantage.
• Preferably with experience in Construction Sector
• Able to work independently
• Team orientated, responsible and possesses good working ethics

This advertisement is for a recruiting position for a Student Care Executive.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Secondary School located in Woodlands Ave 1.

Contract Period: From 01 February 2024 to 31 July 2024.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Student Care Executive Duties

• Attendance matters
• Discipline duties
• Oversee special programmes for at-risk students
• Patrolling within school compound
• Patrolling the immediate neighborhood around school
• Accompany school staff for house-visits
• Assist in smoking cessation programme
• Student management administrative duties
• Canteen duties
• Other ad-hoc duties for at-risk students

2. Assist School Administrative Team in clerical work, receptionist duties and minimal estate management (if needed to)

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and qualities:

1. Qualification

• Preferably GCE ‘O” Level certificate
• Those with no academic certificate but with relevant experience may still apply

2. Skills

• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Able to communicate in English and one other language(i.e. Mandarin/Malay/Tamil)
• IT Savvy. Proficient in MS Office
• Receptive and abe to work independently
• Excellent team player who is organised, meticulous and with ability to mulit-task

3. Experienced

• Preferably one (1) year of working experience with challenging students

Responsibilities

General Administration & Payroll Management

• Typing of Letter of Appointment and other personnel letters for assigned projects/divisions

• Updating of employee data in the system

• Maintaining of electronic personnel files to ensure employment contracts and related documents are in place.

• Handling bi-monthly payroll for assigned projects/divisions

• Prepare payroll costing for assigned projects/divisions

• Collecting, opening and disseminating of mails

• Source and arrange for adhoc training courses

• Application of training grants

• Handling of foreign work pass employment related matters

• Updating of accommodation related matters

• Updating of foreign worker’s accommodation into OFWAS portal

• Provide support for answering of incoming phone calls and enquiries

• Any adhoc HR duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource Management, Administrative or similar

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related functions

• Good communication skills (written and oral)

• Pro-active manner, willing to offer new suggestions and share

• Knowledge of Foreign Manpower Act

• Familiar with work pass regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel with an eye for details
