• Procurement professional adept at both Procurement Operations and Category Management/Sourcing

Job Description:
• To handle and support all purchasing activities for HQ and regional offices, supplier management, gather quotations for internal sales colleagues and, coordinate on all import and export shipments.
• To negotiate with existing vendors for better pricing, delivery lead-time and develop new supplier business relationships. Establish consignment contracts with suppliers for cost efficiency.
• Generate and organize reports for authorized signatory approvals.
• Perform cost-price value analysis and implement cost reduction programs with existing suppliers and consignment stock.
• Purchase of consumables, equipment and spare parts etc. from local or overseas vendors.
• Establish and negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers for cost effective and good quality corporate goods and services.
• Liaise and follow up with suppliers for any discrepancies issue.
• Coordinate all import shipments from suppliers to headquarters and overseas branch offices.
• Ensure shipping document accuracy with suppliers and freight forwarders and comply with import rules and regulations.
• Ensure all documents are in proper order and submit promptly for accounting and audit purposes.
• Support logistics team for 3rd party out-sourcing activities.
• Must include colleague from same department in all correspondence such as email to keep them informed of all ongoing status.
• To be able to cover colleague from same department job if they are on leave/ absence without any issue.
• Update the status of all order in the shared folder, must be up to date at any time.
• Work as a team and consistently communicate with colleague on all matters.
• Dropship shipment from supplier directly deliver to customer, must inform Sales OP/ Logistics in advance to prepare delivery order.
• Any other tasks as assigned.

Requirement:
• With relevant 2 years purchasing working experience

This role reports to the Purchasing Manager.

1. Responsible for the procurement of the following products used in the hotel, but not limited to:

a. Food & Beverage

b. Stationery Supplies

c. Printing Supplies

d. General Supplies

2. Evaluates and selects products to ensure that all products procured:

a. are of high quality standard and meet customers’ expectations

b. correct quantity can be delivered on time

c. price is most favorable against 3 quotations received whenever possible

d. helps to prevent wastage and minimal cost

3. Performs follow-up with Supplier if there is a discrepancy between Purchase Order and physical delivery on pricing, quantity or quality.

4. Covers the duties and responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager in his/her absence.

5. Assists Finance to verify and clarify any billing discrepancy.

6. Maintains the purchasing records filing system and ensures that records are up to date.

7. Updates Purchasing Manager and relevant departments with information on new products/prices.

8. Responsible to negotiate with vendors for better pricing on bulk purchases.

9. Generates Purchase Orders.

10. Co-ordinates with Marketing Communications Department on any printing requests.

11. Assists in physical inventory for all operating equipment in circulation and in store when required.

12. Responsible for compilation and submission of quarterly quotes to Chef for review.

13. Performs any assignment given by the Purchasing Manager from time to time.

Position: IT Procurement Sourcing Lead

Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a IT Procurement Sourcing Lead to assist with Global IT Category procurement.

In this role, you will focus on finding the best suppliers to support our business needs.

This professional will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the quality of data used for spend analysis and reporting for our organization.

Ensures quality of data by interpreting patterns and trends using digital tools and methods including data modeling and data mining.

You will also conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine where we can improve, re-negotiating contracts with existing suppliers.

You will have to spend time developing various approaches to procuring and contracting external support from the marketplace in line with current industry standards.

Part of this involves researching suppliers and gathering information from vendor databases to support Category management leaders across the globe as part of decision-making process.

This role is essential to the efficiency and success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:
