Summary

The Senior IT Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting the IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. This role provides IT support over the phone and in person to non-technical end-users and performs basic device support independently. It involves installing, assessing, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading computers and equipment of various types. The engineer will fulfill customer requests, resolve technical problems, and respond to customer questions in a timely and professional manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues, serving as an escalation point for junior IT staff.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• Required: 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and support.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and support, with a focus on enterprise environments.
