Amazon is seeking an experienced Operations Launch Program Manager (PM) with expertise in last mile operations to support fast paced launch and expansion of new business operations across the globe. The PM will be an expert in at Last Mile systems and technology (AMZL experience desirable) and assists with driving business decisions in a fast paced and often ambiguous work environment and interfacing with various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. This individual will coordinate the stakeholders required to launch new business operations. This will require defining and scoping program requirements and critical path, ensuring the safety of our employees, understanding intricate inter-dependencies within the program, and driving and coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors to launch on time and on budget, as well as driving standardization and consistency within our network, in order to continuously raise the bar of our marketplace launches. You will be part of a high functioning team with ultimate responsibility for the launch of multiple, complex, high capital projects. Key job responsibilities
- Planning, driving and coordinating the execution of last mile functions for successful launch
- Managing cross-functional teams from project scoping to customer-facing launch, often operating in ambiguous environments
- Able to juggle multiple programs with competing deadlines while maintaining customer focus
- Providing detailed, data-driven insight to identify and prioritize opportunities and to shape our program and operational decisions, as well as foresee risks, “join the dots” and drive to resolution
- Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses, with excellent communication skills
- Takes ownership and accountability for programs, while maintaining the ability to ask for help, and escalate issues and problems as necessary to keep programs on track
- Designing program mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks, and gather feedback from a wide range of worldwide stakeholders

- Up to 50% travelling across the region
Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Last Mile technology experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
