The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineering teams, and other departments to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Engineer will be involved in project planning, technical review, and site coordination, providing essential support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination:Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
  Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and work plans, using project management tools to track progress and ensure timely completion.
  Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
  
• Technical Support and Design Review:Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure engineering quality and compliance.
  Provide technical input to the design process, working closely with design teams to address any engineering challenges.
  Support project manager in evaluating design changes, assessing their impact on project schedules and budgets.
  
• Site Coordination and Quality Control:Conduct site visits as needed to monitor project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials and equipment meet quality requirements and project specifications.
  Assist in conducting quality control inspections, ensuring that installations align with engineering and regulatory standards.
  
• Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and technical documents.
  Provide regular updates to project managers on project progress, potential risks, and any adjustments needed to stay on track.
  Support procurement activities by reviewing material specifications and participating in vendor evaluations as necessary.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
• 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., oil and gas, construction, manufacturing].
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to engineering projects.

Job Role:-

(a) Image build management;

(b) Administration and configuration;

(c) End-user account management;

(d) End-user device hardening and lockdown;

(e) Trouble-shooting and problem resolution; and

(f) End-user briefings & awareness service.

Shall minimally support the following types of DESKTOP:

(a) Desktops;

(b) Notebooks;

(c) Mobile Devices (e.g. iPad, iPhone or equivalent);

(d) Video Conferencing Devices;

(e) IP Telephones;

(f) Printers, including multi-function devices (i.e. printers, scanners and fax devices); and

(g) Other peripherals (e.g. external hard drives, mouse, smart-card readers, monitors, docking stations).

Shall minimally support the following operating systems:

 Windows 7 and later versions of Windows;

 Apple iOS 9.x or later versions; and

 Android OS 5.x or later versions.

Minimum Requirement:

L1 Support Requirement

(a) Minimum one (1) year of DESKTOP Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience;

(b) Ability to perform the daily DESKTOP Support operations with minimum supervision;

(c) Possess technical skills in supporting existing and new computing devices such as desktops,notebooks and mobile devices;

(d) Possess knowledge in IT networking and LAN to troubleshoot computer problems; and

(e) Possess at least one (1) of the following certifications:

 Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) Win7/Win8 or equivalent;

 (ii) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in any discipline or equivalent; or

 (iii) CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802, CompTIA PDI+ or equivalent.

L2 Support Requirement

(a) Minimum three (3) years of DESKTOP Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent

experience with networking and system administration background;

(b) Ability to resolve incident escalated by Level 1 DESKTOP Support Engineers in confirming the

validity of the problem and seeking and researching for known solutions related to these more complex issues; and

(c) Possess at least one (1) of the following certification:

 Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Windows Client or equivalent;

 (ii) Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) in one or more of the following: Desktop Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, Communication or equivalent; or

 (iii) CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802, CompTIA PDI+ or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules that incorporate all project activities, milestones, and deliverables. Utilize project management software to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
• Stakeholder Communication: providing regular updates on project progress, potential challenges, and changes to project plans.
• Quality Control: Ensure that project planning and execution adhere to industry standards, company policies, and client specifications, maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes and processes for lessons learned and opportunities for improvement in future planning and execution phases.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior planning engineers and other project staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and management within the construction or engineering industry.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, powerpoint).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management best practices.

• Follow up and process sales orders, sales report generation, project management and sales presentations.

• Manage daily sales inquiries and quotations via email and phone for both existing and new clients.
• Work closely & coordinate with the indoor team to maximize sales figures.
• Liaise with operation team and ensure timely delivery of customers’ orders
• To prepare report after Job Done / Pump Repair Done. (Training will be provided)
• Carry out risk assessment; Make recommendations on risk control measures and Communication Risk Assessments (RA) to concerned parties and other Method of Statement. (Training will be provided)
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma holder preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Applicants with no working experience are welcomed (Training provided)
• Strong knowledge of pumps and their applications is highly desirable
• Experience in engineering sales/customer service is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel for business purposes as required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to learn, pleasant personality, humble responsible, positive working attitude and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.
• Salary base on the working experience, additionally + Commission

Duties & Responsibilities

· Coordinate piping design with other engineering disciplines

· Prepare piping layouts, general specifications and documents according to project standards.

· Analyze and interpret stress/vibration results, offering recommendations for piping system designs.

· Develop piping layouts for critical equipment like compressors and reactors, in 3D CAD if possible

· Review project documentation such as scope of work, schedules, and design basis.

· Assist in planning and organizing piping engineering activities, including manpower requirements and schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope and budget.

· Able to do material take-off (MTO) and ensure conformance with company design standards and compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry practices.

· Participate in inter-department coordination on all project-related issues

· Support field engineering during construction and advise on installation and testing.

· Conduct site visits

· Any other relevant tasks as assigned by Project Manager
