The duties and responsibilities of a mechanical engineer include

• Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
• Designing and developing prototypes
• Analyzing and testing prototypes and each revision of a device
• Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfill requirements
• Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT.
• Experience: 2-3 years of network support experience.

Skills:

• Hands-on troubleshooting in Level 2 Enterprise Data Centre and office networks.
• Experience with firewall rules, NAT configuration, and routing.
• Familiarity with firmware and Cisco IOS upgrades for firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Understanding and configuration of VLANs.
• Knowledge of MPLS management and static/dynamic routing protocols.
• Proficient with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds using SNMP and NetFlow).
• Strong documentation skills (network diagrams, inventory lists).
• Some vendor and network project management experience.
• Experience with small wireless network implementation is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new network solutions or improve existing networks.
• Monitor network performance and provide diagnostics.
• Maintain documentation for network configurations and updates.

2. Co-ordinate with Site Supervisor and Sub-contractors on progress matters and prepare monthly and weekly reports·

3. To develop, monitor, and review equipment and manpower deployment plans for project sites·

4. To perform monthly/weekly/daily project progress reporting activities·

5. To monitor the progress of projects and Update the management for any schedule variances·

6. Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants·

7. Any other ad-hoc assignment being assigned from Superior·

8. Knowledge of Plumbing/Sanitary Works an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate

• Manage Green Rating process of projects and ensure target achievement, such as LEED, etc.
• Building Mechanical experience, Chiller Plant , Energy Audit including dynamic simulation. familiar with energy modeling software
• Project management for local and overseas projects (e.g. design, computation, M&E, facilitation & advisory, etc.)
• Good project management and organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Prepare reports and presentations for project submissions.
• Conduct all necessary calculations, such as ACMV system, lighting, landscape, etc.
