Geek+ is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives across the APAC region. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement regional safety strategies and policies that align with corporate objectives and local regulations. Your expertise in safety management, compliance, and risk assessment will be crucial in promoting a culture of safety within our Company.

What you have to do
- Policy Development: Collaborate closely with the HQ EHS department to develop, implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures that comply with industry standards and local regulations in APAC;
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand local regulations and collaborate with consulting firms to enhance EHS standards and ensure product safety compliance;
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct routine site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to EHS regulations;
- Incident and Emergency Management: Manage safety incidents and address risks. Develop emergency response plans and conduct safety drills. Collaborate with local safety authorities and consulting firms to facilitate communication between HQ and local experts.
- EHS Metrics Monitoring: Monitor and report on key EHS metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance;
- Safety Training: Organize and deliver safety training programs to ensure all employees are aware of EHS policies and procedures and can effectively manage safety risks.
- Safety Culture Promotion: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a safety-first culture and engage employees in EHS initiatives;
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- RSO or RSA certification with a minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience
- Experience in warehousing or AMR industry is preferred
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations across the APAC region (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, etc.) is advantageous
- Familiarity with ISO standards and experience in safety auditing is beneficial
- Ability to work independently
- Candidates with less experience may be considered as EHS Officer
