Job Responsibilities

• Air import/export shipments coordination;
• Ensure correct and accurate import/export document process including MAWB, HAWB, cargo manifest etc;
• Verify cargo details such as weighing slip, commercial invoice & packing list before processing documents; DG cargo declaration and liaise with 3rd party for DG packaging in accordance to DG regulations and check list (DGR);
• Permit declaration for both import and export air shipments;
• Booking of air shipment and pick up (trucking) arrangement;
• Ensure air export cargoes are lodged in a timely;
• Booking with airlines, the closing of MAWB till cargo is lodged in & accepted by the Terminal.
• Send pre-alert to customer; Sorting, distributing of documents including the filing of MAWB and HAWB to prevent any backlog in the admin process;
• Adherence to all customer's specific SOPs and relevant standard procedures;

Job Requirements

• Min “O" / Diploma holder with 3 years of relevant experience / Experience in handling air freight shipment
• Experienced in freight forwarding & Air freight will be an advantage
• Familiar in SAP will be an advantage but is not a must.
• Good team player with ability to work independently
• Knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and power point)

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Maintenance:Install, maintain, repair, and service air-conditioning systems, including split, window, and cassette units.
   Review blueprints, commission, and test systems to ensure proper functionality.
   
2. Routine & Preventive Maintenance:Conduct preventive maintenance tasks like cleaning blowers, coils, and performing chemical washes on FCUs.
   Perform corrective maintenance for optimal operational efficiency.
   
3. Troubleshooting & Repairs:Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues within air-conditioning systems.
   Repair or replace damaged components such as compressors and fan coil motors.
   
4. New System Planning:Plan, design, and install new air-conditioning systems as required.
   
5. Documentation & Compliance:Keep accurate records of performed work and prepare service reports for client endorsement.
   Ensure compliance with appliance standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
   
6. Emergency & On-Call Service:Attend to breakdowns, emergency repairs, and urgent service requests as needed.
   
7. Additional Responsibilities:Adhere to safety protocols and any other tasks assigned by supervisors or management.
   

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in air-conditioning maintenance or repair.
• Education: NITEC or Higher NITEC in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
  Strong physical ability to handle job demands, including bending, kneeling, and working in hot or confined spaces.
  Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
  Ability to work independently or in a team with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  Proficient in English and Mandarin for effective client and stakeholder communication.
