JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Tropical Oils Analyst Lead, as subject matter authority, independently retrieve, analyze and summarize data to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and predict business outcomes. In this role, you will collect, analyze and interpret marketplace trends and customer data to create product development strategies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and drive new analysis approaches and methodologies.
• Work with global trading desk heads daily on strategic direction and advocation for trading positions, using analytic data.
• Create complex models to compile research and adjusts the models as necessary to revise the strategy.
• Research competitor behavior including marketing strategies, pricing, sales and methods of operation.
• Independently track market conditions, trends and competitors to project demand and inform product launch timing.
• Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
• Lead and manage regional supply and demand analytic team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six years of related work experience
• Expert level of understanding of the commodities/tropical oils demand and supply, markets or specialized area.
• Experience working in global trading environment.
• Complex and large data analytic skill.
• Experience in managing and leading a regional team.

Job Description

• Perform order processing & permit declaration through System.
• Perform payment / courier service on behalf of customer.
• Perform shipping documentation and coordination with shipping line or agent.
• Perform warehouse, deopt and transportation coordination with internal and external team.
• Provide customer’s report (Daily or Monthly).
• Generate company’s required reports (Daily or Monthly).
• Generate monthly TradeNet Major Exporter Scheme Import or Export report for customer.
• Perform Monthly accrual submission (Internal & External)
• Execute closure for all completed HCS orders in PSA HCS system.
• Check all PSA relevant charges are transmitted into PSA HCS system.
• Prepare and attach required receipts and emails for billing purpose. (Payment on Behalf, Miscellaneous charges)

Job Requirement

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge in PSA Haulier Community System and TradeNet will be an advantage.
