Key responsibilities
- Filing and sorting accounting documents
- Data entry into accounting system – mainly AP related entries (including coding of office vendor invoices and expense claims)
- Updating excel worksheets (tracking of team bonding budget & other office events like CNY etc)
- Train staff on the expense system and provide support
- Preparing online Telegraphic Transfers on HSBCnet
- Banking duties including liaising on returned fund (maintain documentation for banking & related matters)
- Perform any other general accounting duties as required
- Monthly review of aged payables and supplier reconciliation
- Monthly updating of balance sheet schedules and preparing bank reconciliation
- Quarterly funding requirements
- Quarterly GST reporting
- Assist in yearly audit and tax reporting
- Assist in admin / reception duties when required
- Ad hoc matters as assigned
- Minimum Diploma with 2 years relevant experience or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
- Right to work in Singapore
- Strong proficiency in Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP systems
- Independent as well as a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication and organizational skills, good initiative, high degree of accuracy, analytical and meticulous
- Multi-tasker and Self-motivated with a positive attitude and integrity
