Account Manager (Field Sales)

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Development, you will lead the profitable development of global and enterprise accounts by positioning our client as a strategic business partner and delivering agreed programs through a team drawn from across the client network. You will also participate in and contribute to the development of strategies and approaches to maintain, protect, improve and grow account sales and portfolio. In addition, you will provide customer account revenue and activity reporting as required by the management team.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, establish and manage multi-tier relationships across customer and our client organisations to ensure a long-term business partnership and achievement of corporate goals.

· Drive sales improvement through regionally harmonized processes.

· Establish clear understanding of customer expectations and requirements.

· Lead and manage customer presentations and proposals.

· Plan & co-ordinate activities and programs to retain and develop sustainable sales revenue.

· Develop and manage after-sales strategy for each of the designated account customers.

· Provide customer-oriented service at all times relating to specific sales and customer expectation issues.

· Contribute to the regional bidding or RFQ process when requested.

Requirements:

· Degree in Business or related discipline

· Proven track record with at least 5 years of account management/development and corporate consultative/solution-based sales experience in a service-related industry

· Strong teamwork / collaboration skills

· Excellent communication, presentation, networking and interpersonal skills

Responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders, such as clients, partners, suppliers and town councils. You will act as the main point of contact between our organization and the external parties, facilitating communication and coordination among them. You will also monitor and report on the progress and performance of projects and contracts, identify and resolve any issues or risks, and provide feedback and recommendations to improve processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and cooperation.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, budgets, timelines, and expectations with external parties.
• Coordinate and manage various projects and contracts involving multiple parties and deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of projects and contracts.
• Identify and mitigate any issues or risks that may arise during the project implementation.
• Handle day to day Operational & Maintenance activities
• Control budget spending and review various way to do cost reduction on OPEX
• Review and implement Permit to Work system.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in business administration, civil or related field
• 5 years of working experiences in similar roles
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
• Skilled in negotiating win-win solutions; able to handle complex situations; experienced in contract management.
• Able to plan and prioritize tasks; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines; able to work under pressure.
• With own transport preferred.

• Participate in tendering process for government tenders by preparing Tender Costing, Final tender Pricing Schedules, Preliminaries, Summary of Tender, and Schedule of Rate (SOR).
• Understand the Instructions to Tenderer and review the tender documents to be able to size up the scope of work and identify the commercial requirements e.g., Completion Date, Duration, Liquidated Damages (LD), Performance Bond, Warranty Insurance, Workmen Compensation.
• Understand the functional requirements of the tender to prepare system’s overview and other requirements.
• Engage in technical discussion to prepare Technical Proposal, Write-up, Design, and System Architecture Drawing.
• Take part in conceptualizing system solutions in the aspect of Software, Hardware and Firmware to prepare system proposal.
• Organize weekly Tender Review Meeting to update the status of tender.
• Provide general Risk Assessment overview.
• Track GEBIZ updates closely to identify any changes in client requirements.
• Attend queries during tender and response to questions from client.
• Facilitate the Presentation to the client during tender interview and organize mock-up demo Proof of Concept (POC) as when it is required.
• Attend site survey and briefing to understand the system requirement.
• Responsible for market intelligence gathering e.g., data from user, suppliers, and internet reference.
• Gather quotation from suppliers.
• Provide weekly update on tender evaluation outcome after the tender is closed.
• Compile tender schedule results after tender close for review.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• A candidate with a proven record of building strong client relationships, highly motivated, a self-starter who proactively generates new sales leads, and excels in achieving sales targets.
• Familiar with integrated security systems like CCTV, Card Access, Face Recognition.
