The successful candidate will work with Assoc. Prof. Li Cheng on scalable Bayesian Gaussian process modeling for spatiotemporal data under a project on “Enhancing Scalability of Bayesian Gaussian Process Models”.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
- literature review on the statistical methodology of modeling non-Gaussian data;
- developing new Bayesian Gaussian process based models and scalable computational algorithms for non-Gaussian spatial and spatiotemporal data;
- coding and conducting numerical experiments related to the main topic.

Key Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will participate in seagrass research, with a specific focus on studying effects of nutrient enrichment on marine plants. The Research Assistant will lead and execute aquarium experiments, laboratory analysis and field sampling. Description: Full-time Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science, DigiPen Institute of Technology Singapore. We expect to make an appointment at the Assistant Professor Level or higher, commensurate with the candidate’s academic credentials and prior experience.

Responsibilities:
