OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director is overall responsible for overseeing the successful running of the Domestic / Cross Border Transport Operations of the company, which includes Air and Ocean Freight operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Role Description

Reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer, the Director of Operations owns the vision and execution of all back-office operations within the organization: listing, ground, viewing, along with client success and customer service. The Director of Operations leads one of the two largest teams in the company, currently made of 20 people and forecasted to grow to 30-50 over the next 24 months. Strategy & Operations

Summary

The Regional Director Security Operations (RDSO) is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team that executes a global security operations program for a multi-national IT organization. Services provided include security operations, safety, budget and financial execution, logistics, and employee recruitment, onboarding and training. The security operations program is comprised of regional security man-guarding functions, a security operations center, development and management of security operations metrics, branch liaison, personnel management and driving key security operations projects and initiatives for datacenters on a multi $100M global Client account. • Take responsibility for delivering against committed timelines
• Participate in regular meetings with the program team to maintain clarity around workflow, understand changes to AML/KYC regulations and or expectations, and develop required reporting metrics and executional process

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience of AML/CDD requirements either via a Client Onboarding role or similar role including an understanding of all type of client structures and requirements such as hedge funds, private corporations, financial institutions, trusts, etc
• Minimum 6 years related working experience in the financial industry or client facing role
• Proven ability to work well in a global team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence internal and or external stakeholders and sponsors
• Book of work planning, management, control and delivery, including process development and implementation to ensure of team productivity, and act as escalation point for any workstream issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Business to native level in written and spoken language for either Mandarin, Japanese or Korean to help existing foreign clients comply with AML/KYC regulatory requirements and interact with foreign external stakeholders

OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director is overall responsible for overseeing the successful running of the Domestic / Cross Border Operations of the company, which includes Air and Ocean Freight operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

· Provide leadership & decision making to the operations departments

· Setting of goals & objectives for operations and product to achieve annual volume growth targets in conjunction with sales and participates in company marketing and sales efforts

· Manage the integration & implementation of new structures developed in operations

· Manage resources including tackling staff performance issues and identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment

· Ensure all transports are carried out within predetermined cost and security standards and perform annual service and cost reviews to ensure we meet market requirements

· Ensure the operations departments adhere to all quality requirements e.g. operational compliance & certifications, ISO, Bizsafe Star, etc. and work with Finance to adhere to financial compliance requirements

· Prepare monthly reports relating to productivity, profitability, compliance etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· A Diploma / Advance Diploma / BSc. degree in business and supply chain preferred or their equivalent.

· 10+ years of air and ocean freight products

· Highly motivated leader who is assertive and adept at working in a competitive, challenging and fast-paced work environment

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects on NUS campuses (planning, design development, procurement, contracts administration, site supervision, liaison with various stakeholders, testing and commissioning, management of project account and defect liability issues.)
• Ensure that projects complete within schedule and approved budget and is properly handed back to the NUS user and over to the maintenance team at Asset Enhancement section, CAM.

Qualifications
