[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in updating, monitoring and renewing of contracts and tenancies administered by the department
• Gather user requirements, assist the process of tender preparation, conduct of tender briefing and evaluation of tenders to appoint vendor
• Administration of contract to facilitate user departments to meet contract specifications when using and managing contracts
• Assist in the execution and administration of tenancy agreements and facilitate departments to meet WOG rules for tenancy and office space management
• Process e-invoices, support management of mailroom and admin services operations managed by the department

• ​Manage medium to long-term electricity network development plans to support the growth of key industry sectors such as semiconductor and data centers. Officer will work closely with government agencies to understand their development plans and carry out reviews of Transmission Network Ten Year Development Plans to ensure the adequacy of electricity network infrastructure to meet demand projections without compromising network reliability.
• Manage grid interconnections of electricity imports. Officer will work closely with other EMA departments to review Transmission Network Development Plans required to facilitate the connection of electricity imports to transmission network as well as to review importers' interconnection proposals to ensure compliance to Transmission Code.
• Oversee the implementation of asset renewal policies enhancements to manage grid cost and network risk exposure. Officer will also review and assess network asset renewal plans to ensure the continued reliability of Singapore's electricity transmission and distribution network.  

• Monitor and review the performance of the wholesale and retail (electricity) market
• Develop and implement regulatory framework and policies to enhance competition in the energy market, and seek stakeholder feedback through public consultations
• Perform market modelling and simulations, and use visualisation tools to support recommendations on regulatory framework and policies​

[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting regular audits on the Public Waste Collector(s)’ refuse and recyclables collection services in the sector(s);

• Investigating and following up on feedback from the public and other stakeholders on refuse and recyclables collection issues in the assigned sector(s);

• Conducting site inspections and/or arranging joint inspections with other stakeholders in response to feedback, where necessary;

• Drafting and submitting investigation reports with recommended follow-up actions to your Manager(s);

• Monitoring the Public Waste Collection contractual requirements and working with the Public Waste Collectors to ensure compliance with contractual deliverables;

• Working on tasks, projects and events as assigned

• Possess relevant skills and experience in field enforcement. Being able to conduct investigations robustly will be advantageous

• Have an outgoing personality and like to engage with people

• Possess good interpersonal skills and is able to remain patient and firm when engaging with members of public

• Have good report writing skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office to deliver work submissions

• A good team player who is mature, independent and resourceful

• Be self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement

• Able to work on weekends or after office hours if required
