Job Description:

MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING

• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort.
• Prioritise and carry out maintenance as requested by Departments on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of all hotel departments.
• Motivate and develop the Engineering team to reach to their fullest potential.
• Ensure guest-centric approach to works, schedules with priority placed on services which impact guest satisfaction.

• Liaise with the Body Corporate with regards to maintenance issues and re-charge labour and materials at agreed rates
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, including Health and Safety and Environmental.
• Liaise with the Executive Assistant Manager regarding use of contractors within the Hotel, controlling expenditure and ensuring work is to the standard required by the Company and manufacture specifications.
• Ensure the cost effective and hygienic removal of rubbish from the hotel areas and monitor to ensure areas are clear and free of offensive odour.
• Be available to carry out emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, as required for: full power failure, evacuation fire system re-set and / or failure of mechanical systems.
• Maintain records of repair work and daily checks as required by local Council, Government and Manufacturer specifications.
• Liaise closely with all departments regarding ‘down’ rooms to expedite a quick turn around and return to inventory.
• Ensure the external areas of the hotel are neat and tidy and maintained in line with Company brand standards.

• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a suite of products that provides build and deploy tooling for Engineers in the firm. It provides a modern, secure and highly available plant that facilitates source control, code review, build, test and production activation.
• Distributed Scheduling (Runtime) offers scalable, highly available and efficient platforms and services for job scheduling, grid computing, Compute-as-a-Service, file transfer and software distribution across the firm.

Primary customer base for SDLC and Runtime are Global Banking & Markets (GBM) and Private Wealth Management (PWM). Also significant customer usage in the Infrastructure Group (Core Engineering).

What you will do

• Own technical operations for systems that manage hundreds of thousands of CPU cores
• Build observability for new deployments to ensure robustness from day one, as well as mature deployments to identify and implement improvements
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based replacements for legacy bare-metal installations
• Dig into issues with block devices, file descriptors, and packet loss; lead real-time outage investigations and present postmortems to senior management

What will I be doing?

Reporting into the Vice President, Suites & Focused Service Brand Management - APAC, this position is responsible for day-to-day support in delivering on our brand strategy and priorities for the Focused Service brands in APAC, excluding China (APACx). The Opportunity

We own, evolve and support the technology platforms that handle the post-execution processing for the Securities Execution, Prime Clearing, and Prime Brokerage businesses. This includes exchange and broker trade processing, internal firm/firm trades and client delivery across physical and synthetic products. About the team

Job Responsibilities:

• Independently implement Design Safety Philosophy, HSE Plan, and standards for fire prevention systems (active and passive), HFE, etc.
• Conduct process hazard evaluations and analysis, including HAZOP/HAZID/SIL studies, and take action as needed. close-out
• Lead/Chair the HAZOP/HAZID/SIL workshops, as needed.
• Responsible for reviewing third-party safety studies such as FERA, dispersion analysis, EERA, ESSA, dropped items research, QRA investigations, and so on. Capable of carrying out independent equivalent safety investigations, if necessary.
• Independently design Active and Passive Fire Protection systems and provide Hazardous/H2S Area Classification paperwork, safety and firefighting layouts, escape route and lifesaving equipment layout, and other safety drawings.
• Perform safety key elements performance standards, RAM, fire and gas detection mapping, and so on in accordance with project requirements.
• Work as a package engineer for safety and firefighting equipment.
• Manage and direct Junior/Senior Engineers and Designers on Concept/FEED/Detailed Engineering projects.
• Provide health and environmental inputs to projects (inputs include health risk evaluations such as chemical exposure, noise and lighting, ergonomics/human factors engineering, environmental impact studies, etc.).
• Interface/coordinate with other engineering disciplines, clients, and take the lead in addressing technical issues pertaining to safety considerations.
• Capable of delivering project safety deliverables according to schedule.
• Provide feedback and support for projects in all safety elements, including progress reports.

Job requirements

• A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or its equivalent from an authorized university.
• At least 22 years of relevant Design Engineering expertise.
• Have strong HSE Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas business, in Process Safety/Technical Safety, and worked for at least 3-5 years as a Lead in comparable projects.
• Has experience in design projects for offshore (FPSO/Platforms) and onshore (refineries, LNG facilities, storage terminals, etc.).
• Should have worked on a minimum number of offshore projects (FPSO/Platforms).
• Possess strong understanding of oil and gas process facilities, local and international process safety codes and standards, and regulatory/marine codes and standards (MODU, SOLAS, DNV/Lloyds Register).
• Should have hands-on experience with plot plan review, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification/verification, and other safety reviews (e.g., SIMOPS, ALARP).

• Monthly report according to company policy, all utility consumption, staff monthly roster, medical of vacation leave correspondence, purchase request, store control and inventory, set-up yearly expense budget, analyzing and controlling the expense, analyzing of complaints, log book and various checklists, handling of repair and job orders
