What is the role?

Yinson GreenTech is looking for a motivated Naval Architect Engineer to join our marine division (“marinEV”) to develop exciting solutions for electric harbour craft and charging infrastructure. Job Description:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical system requirements, specifications, and design criteria for marine vessel propulsion and control systems.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using industry-standard design tools.
• Select appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Design and implement control logic, automation, and monitoring systems for propulsion and manoeuvring.
• Oversee the installation, integration, and testing of electrical systems on marine vessels during construction or retrofit projects.
• Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to design specifications.
• Collaborate with shipyard personnel and subcontractors to ensure proper installation and alignment of propulsion and control components.
• Coordinate with project managers to establish commissioning schedules, manage resources, and ensure timely project completion.
• Analyse and evaluate the performance of propulsion and control systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvement, and performance enhancement.
• Work closely with the research and development team to implement innovative technologies and solutions to address emerging challenges in marine propulsion and control.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including operation manuals, maintenance guides, and as-built drawings for electrical systems.
• Generate commissioning reports, test procedures, and status updates for internal teams, project stakeholders, and clients.
• Ensure that all designed and commissioned electrical systems comply with relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and classification societies to obtain necessary approvals and certifications for electrical systems.

As an experienced Salesforce.com Technical Architect with 8-10 years of experience, you have a good functional and technical knowledge of Salesforce and its suite of solutions. The Salesforce Architect role will be responsible for building and mentorship of a multi-skilled Salesforce team as well as design and implementing Salesforce solutions for our customers that follow best practices in both IT and Salesforce projects

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Engage clients & prospects and conduct technical presentation meetings on Salesforce.com
• Design robust architectural solutions for enterprise-level Salesforce implementations
• Provide solution design expertise spanning across multiple industries
• Shape a digital blueprint and technology roadmap
• Plan and lead solution delivery requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, integration, testing, migration and deployment
• Ability to understand pain areas of business and present workable solutions
• Project manage resources and delivery of business implementation successfully
• Manage robust teams of Salesforce.com delivery team members, including BAs, Tech Leads, Architects, Developers & QA
• Define and execute best practices in solution analysis, design and implementation

• Keeping up to date with Salesforce releases and new functionality.

Your Profile:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in IT/ConputerScience/Computer Engineering/ Engineering
• Must have minimum 9 years of Salesforce Hands-on Experinnce with Development and solutioning
• Must have 2-3 years of Architect Experience.
• Must have at least one of the certifications: Salesforce Application Architect Certification; ·Salesforce System Architect Certification; ·Salesforce Technical Architect Certification
• Strong analysis and solution designing skills
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Relevant and practical experience in Salesforce.com consultancy required
• Open to travel and overseas posting for 2 to 3 months to be expected
