Role Overview

Android Engineers play a key role in the Coupang Play product organization. From contributing to product development on the Android Platform to understanding our customer experience, this role is central for the development of our Android app.

What You Will Do

• Support entire application lifecycle (concept, design, develop, test, release)
• Work with third party development vendors and partners
• Perform code reviews and adhere to best coding practices
• Develop technical documentation

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on Android related products
• Hands-on programming in Android mobile app development
• Experienced in both Kotlin and Java
• Experienced in architecture pattern like MVVM, MVP
• Experienced in Jetpack libraries (Room, Paging, Livecycle, LiveData, Databinding, ViewModel, AppCompat, Fragment etc)
• Experienced in asynchronous programming (Coroutine, RxJava)
• Developed at least three apps, with at least one available in Google Play Store

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced in customizing Exoplayer and maintaining middleware interfacing with Exoplayer
• Experienced in MPEG-DASH, Widevine DRM, offline playback, Chromecast SDK
• Experienced in tests with JUnit, Robolectric, MockK, Espresso
• Experienced in OTT apps and Android TV

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Protection System Projects/Services;
• Participate in testing and commissioning activities at site
• Perform wiring check in workshop and at site
• Effectively manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring smooth project execution
• Ensure project documentation are maintain and updated timely

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a recognised Polytechnic/University;
• A proven track record in Project Management is an advantage;
• Experience with SPPG substations (22 KV, 66 KV, 230 KV and 400 KV) is an advantage;

The Opportunity

The incumbent is required to re-engineer existing systems, provide solutions to integrate multiple platforms, provide technical support to maintenance team, support system testing and commissioning and compile operation manuals for systems and be involved in Customer Care Pre/Post-variation order activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform off site survey with clients to capture essential requirements
• Re-engineer existing systems by analysing and identifying areas for modifications / enhancements
• Provide solutions to integrate multiple platforms and hardware e.g. CCTV, security card access
• Compile operation manuals by liaising with principal suppliers and maintenance teams on performance of systems on site
• Provide on-site technical support for variation orders received by Projects Delivery and Customer Care department
• Support maintenance testing and commissioning by drafting specific tests and commissioning plans

• Responsible for the electrical design of Critical Power Solutions.
• Design the MV and LV switchgear, transformers, NER equipment, gensets, transfer switches (both ATS & STS), both Static and Dynamic UPS systems, Energy Storage systems, PLC control panels and system control narratives.
• Responsible for the integration of the equipment that is part of the Critical Power Solution. Liaise with individual vendors of the equipment to define the necessary interfacing.
• Responsible to meet the Tender and/or Project specification. Clarify the design in design meetings with internal departments and/or customer.
• Responsible to lead the Engineers and Drafters by stating the design targets.
• Check and verify engineering documents against system design.
• Follow developments in the industry related to the Energy Transition, regulation changes and trends, and adapt and contribute to new concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities including but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, Studies, Operability, Front Loading Commissioning in design, SCE’s and Performance standards in CommissioningProcedures.

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 10 to 15 years work experience (or) Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 8 to 12 years work experience with minimum of 10 years work experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s). Also Diploma inEngineering with 12 to 15 years work experience (making the equivalent to degree) can alsobe considered.
• Specialist knowledge of at least Three related project line.
• Ability to define concepts of completion process.
• Experience in design of FPSO’s including FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning& start-up phase.
• Experience of Topsides Mechanical Production Systems and EPCIC to handover tooperations.
• Experience in Complex Gas Compression, Injection, Export Systems and Thermodynamicrequirements for Heat Recovery and Steam systems, especially Combined Cycle.
• Experience in steam system Commissioning and S/U, including initial cleanup (steam blows).
• Experience with OTSG (Once Through Steam Generator) a plus.
• Experience with condensing steam turbines and specific utilities such as boiler feedwaterpumps and vacuum pumps.
• Have proven project experience and skills within the field of Testing, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning execution and startup at offshore.
• Experience in offshore plant startup and stabilization and able to provide Operations withtechnical support throughout start-up, stabilization, and performance testing.
• Experience on commissioning and startup of Gas Compression and Gas Treatment plants.
• Experience on commissioning and startup of Water Treatment and Water Injection plants.
• Work experience within strict regulatory environments and aligning commissioningindependencies with engineering compliance and contractual requirements.
• High safety awareness is mandatory. A good knowledge of managing simultaneousoperations (SIMOPS) is essential.
• Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion, Project Management (MS Project / P6) and General computer literacy (MS office).
