Job Summary
Reporting to the Division Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, control, and closure. The role requires leading project teams, representing the company in client interactions, and organizing key meetings with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Job Scope
- Manage EPC projects ranging from USD 3 million to USD 30 million and above, ensuring high-quality delivery within schedule and budget
- Lead tendering activities for EPC projects, including developing strategies to win bids
- Conduct contract reviews, perform risk assessments, and develop contingency plans
- Organize proposal and project task forces, allocating resources effectively to meet project requirements
- Define project execution strategies and establish policies for quality, safety, cost, and timelines
- Review, monitor, and analyze project operations to ensure alignment with goals
- Oversee project insurance, liabilities, warranties, and approvals for financial control plans
- Evaluate and approve cost alternatives and deviations, considering their impact on budget, schedule, and quality
- Prepare comprehensive budget plans and analyses, including cost estimation for EPC projects
- Promote the company's expertise to enhance market visibility and secure invitations for project bidding
- Assess overall project performance and recommend improvements where necessary
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred, with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong multidisciplinary technical knowledge, particularly in basic process design and P&ID
- Familiarity with project management principles, front-end engineering, and project planning tools
- Proven track record in managing EPC projects within the oil, gas, and petrochemical sector
