● Revise systems for identification and support of students who are in the EAL program and demonstrate a need for intervention services
● Collaborate with the Head of the Intensive Support Program to identify openings, criteria for entry/exit, and communication structures
● Responsible for budget related to Student Support Program, including the Intensive Support Program budget and resource allocation
● Ensure that appropriate data is collected and records and reports are maintained to comply with SSD, AHPC, Cognita, CIS / WASC and CPE policy and regulation

Qualifications
● Master’s Degree / PhD in a related field (Special Education, Education Leadership, Educational Administration)
● At least 3+ years experience in a position of significant leadership (i.e., SSD Director, Deputy Principal, etc)
● Minimum 5 years teaching experience in Special Education and/or inclusive General Education classroom contexts
● Experience implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and experience with selecting, training, and supporting the implementation of intervention programs
● Current Teaching Certification in Special Education (Mild/Moderate and/or Severe Licensure)
● Experience supporting English Language Learners
● Experience with Universal Design for Learning (preferred)

The Director, Projects & Design (Development Support) – Asia Pacific excluding China (APACx) reports to the Senior Director, Projects & Design and is responsible for the management of project stakeholders, project timeline, design process, and the successful opening/conversion/renovation of the hotel project. As the point of contact between Owners, and internal and external partners, you are a conduit of information, collaborator, and facilitator between Hilton and Ownership.

You will cover the Asia Pacific region excluding Greater China & Mongolia (APACx) and be responsible for focus-service, full-service, lifestyle, and luxury hotel projects across all Hilton brands.

What will I be doing?
As the Director, Projects & Design (Development Support) – APACx, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Project Management

• Provide technical services and guide all elements of the planning and design phase of the project.
• Support the Owner’s project timelines and construction progress to ensure a seamless hotel handover.
• Provide mentorship for the implementation of brand standards and any recommendations for meeting brand standards.
• Oversee construction activities.
• Report to Owners, Stakeholders, and Senior Director on findings, key dates, solving project risks that will affect the hotel's success and opening, and conditional and final approvals.
• Improve the final product, and preparation of waiver requests.
• Assist in the solving of design problems as they arise in concert with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Hilton Stakeholders.
• Implement effective and efficient strategies to best suit the organization.
• Plan meetings, agendas, site visits, and program deliverables optimally engaging/disengaging all parties promptly allowing for accurate preparation and planning for the attendees.
• Plan meetings and travel in consideration of other Stakeholders and attendees' travel times and travel expense agreements for several trips.
  

Development Support & Design Management

• Provide Project Assessment, including Project Improvement Plan (PIP) inspections/reports to the Development team before application to facilitate project approval.
• Direct, review and approval of architectural planning, interior design, FF&E, art & accessories, landscape, graphics and way-finding designs to ensure they meet the Brand
• Design Narrative, Brand standards and Brand equity.
• Contribute to country-specific addenda to global Brand standards for all Hilton brands

• To work with the CIO to formulate and review strategic asset allocation strategies, while taking into consideration insurance asset liability management requirements and the insurance risk-based capital management framework.
• Work with the risk management group to refine and develop risk management models to evaluate existing portfolio positions and investment strategies.
• Perform evaluation of new investment strategies and to conduct external fund manager due diligence to support the investment objectives of the insurance funds.

Job Requirements

The main objective of the department is to assist the CRO and Assistant CRO in the management of MC Branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region, of its related activities and support our senior executives in our head office in Tokyo by providing geopolitical intelligence, as well as supporting our various business groups in developing new businesses and providing relevant industry insights.

In doing so, you will collaborate deeply with our colleagues in our head office in Tokyo, as well as our branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region. Therefore, you are expected to contribute by understanding the needs of our senior executives and business groups, support to collect, collate, analyse and disseminate relevant information the relevant business groups. The roles include but not limited to the followings:

• To support and coordinate for the activities of the CRO Office.
• Manage all the necessary documentations and provide administrative and logistics support for the CRO Office in the event of any internal and external business functions, as well as receiving VIPs.
• To understand fully the strategies and requirements of our senior executives and business groups in our head office in Tokyo, as well as support the activities of our branch offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania region.
• Prepare geopolitical intelligence related reports to senior executives in the head office, based on the above-mentioned strategies and requirements.
• To coordinate, support and manage interactions and collaboration between branch offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania region.
• Management of CRO Office assets including record keeping of confidential documents, books and other office items etc.
• Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks to be assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
• Relevant knowledge and experience in providing geopolitical intelligence.
• High proficiency in English language and Japanese language (JLPT Level N1 or ability to speak, read and write at business level) to communicate effectively through phone calls, emails and/or meetings with the head offices in Tokyo, as well as both local and expatriate staff in the branch offices and subsidiary companies.
• Skills to create and present materials both in Japanese and English to communicate effectively with counterparties.
• Attention to details, strong communicator, proactive interaction with the team and cross-department to enable smooth and efficient operation of daily tasks.
• More than 2 years’ experience in abovementioned requirements.
