Job Overview:
We are seeking a full time, energetic and driven candidate to fill our opening for Senior Energy Engineer, based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
· Be part of the Energy Management & Solution team.
· Manage and work on Energy Audit / Energy Assessment / Energy Retrofitting, Contracting and Improvement projects.
· Conduct site-walk and gap analysis to determine necessary upgrades and improvement to achieve the desired energy & water savings.
· Conduct energy audit on building services (Level 1 – Level 3) to evaluate their performance and determine necessary upgrading measures.
· Conduct energy audit / verification on existing chilled-water plant and air-side system to verify the performance of the permanent measurement instrumentation and operating system efficiency.
· Conduct energy efficiency assessment on industrial facilities plants and infrastructures to identify potential energy improvement opportunities.
· Perform M&V and BMS trending data collection and analysis to identify building & chiller plant operation characteristics, performance, and areas of potential improvement & energy savings.
· Manage and perform on-site sensors verification, setting up of M&V instruments (such as power meter, temperature sensor, flow meter, etc) for energy audit / verification purposes.
· Prepare gap analysis and energy audit / assessment report according to templates and standards, for timely delivery and closure of the gap analysis and energy audit / assessment reports.
· Review and advise on energy & water savings strategies for building undergoing energy efficiency retrofits.
· Involve in energy efficiency & energy consumption analysis and benchmarking.
· Involve in water efficiency & water consumption analysis and benchmarking.
Requirements:
· Candidate must possess a Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical) or equivalent.
· Preferably engineer specializing in Engineering – Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical.
· Possess a Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) accreditation is a must.
· At least 3-5 years of working experience in Energy Audit, Energy Assessment, or similar industry.
· Prior working knowledge of ACMV, Mechanical & Electrical designs in Commercial Buildings or Industrial Facilities Plants is a plus.
· Prior working experience of Facilities Management in Industrial Facilities Plants or related is a plus.
· Familiar with ASHRAE Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Energy Audit will be added advantage.
· Familiar with Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment (EEOA) reporting for industrial facilities plants and infrastructures will be added advantage.
· Effective interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
· Team player with the ability to work as a team, willing to learn, contribute ideas and assist team member with tasks/duties, when required.
· Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse building or industrial services plant and chilled-water plant operational data.
· Broad based experience of computer systems and MS Office applications.
