Position Summary:

This role would focus on our Workplace Technology Solutions (WTS), a brand-new vertical at DVI Solutions. It focuses on the deployment of IoT systems and solutions within Corporate Real Estate (CRE) projects to collect, aggregate and compute data that is presented on a customized dashboard to provide data-driven actionable insights for various corporate stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Project

· Regular site visits to ensure quality service and smooth operations for clients.

· Pre-sales solution design and quotation generation

· On-site work such as installation supervision (cabling, mounts, sensors/devices) and configuration of local IoT/networking system

· Liaison with vendors, clients, contractors and overseas DVI project teams

· Remote access work such as configuration of WTS system and client onboarding

· Execution of UAT

· End to end project documentation such as Requirements Gathering, Sensor Master List, Sensor Deployment Plan, Functional Sign-Off, UAT, Operation and Maintenance Manual.

Maintenance

· L2 client support (remote and on-site)

· L3 client support (liaison with vendor to fix bugs within vendor's system and/or activation of device RMA to vendor)

Product Testing

· In-depth testing of WTS vendor product functions/features to uncover bugs to be fixed

· Setup of test IoT system and environment in DVI Office (WTS hardware and software - cloud/on-prem backend and/or frontend)

Required Education/Experience:

· Diploma in Electrical & Electronic, IT, IoT, Infocom, Computer Engineering, Robotics or related

· 2 years of working experience in IoT Systems, Access Control, Surveillance, Building Management System, Cloud (Azure/AWS), Computer Networking or related

· Prior experience as a project engineer with the construction industry (main contractor or M&E sub-contractor) would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop power measurement device with wired & wireless connectivity.
• Design & Develop firmware for HEMS (Home Energy Management System), IoT gateway, and Human-Machine Interface products.
• Develop peripherals using MCU/DSP.
• Develop applications/products based on the Linux Platform.
• Conduct design reviews, bug fixes and update/create design documentation.
• Work with other team members to test and verify system-level functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master of Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering
• Min. 5 years of working experience in R&D or product development as a firmware engineer.
• Extensive experience in Embedded Programming using C/C++/Rust for Embedded Linux and MCU
• Experience in real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS…etc.)
• Source code control and management using Git.
• Knowledge of Python to create debugging scripts.
• Experience in coding and debugging various communication interfaces and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus RTU/TCP, RS232/485)
• Experience in wireless communication systems and protocols (IEEE 802.15.4, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread, LTE, NB-IoT, LoRa)
• Able to read schematics, and utilize Oscilloscopes and other test equipment to debug Firmware issues.
• Remote firmware update and bootloader design

Job Description & Requirements

• Conduct Geotechnical Analysis, Soil Classification, Data analysis and interpretation of instrumentation works Submit progress/ technical reports and assessment on geotechnical issues on site.
• Responsible for all on-site geotechnical and engineering issues pertaining to site matters.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and attend to clients for queries. To conduct the geotechnical investigation and/or instrumentation projects to meet the schedule and specified requirement
• To prepare and submit factual and/or engineering reports on the respective projects
• Initiate and co-ordinate projects according to schedule.
• Assist engineering analysis and attend the site meeting.
• Any other duties as assigned by the project managers.

• Aid the Project Manager in overseeing Quality-related concerns.
• Evaluate consultant drawings and specifications.
• Review QA/QC plans, create checklists, inspections, and procedures.
• Verify that the tasks are executed in alignment with Contract specifications, drawings, and all contractual documents, adhering to regulatory authorities and technical department prerequisites.
• Assist in project tasks at the construction site.
• Contribute to achieving ISO Certification.

Requirements

• Possess a Civil Engineering degree or a related field of study.
• Hold at least 3 years of on-site experience, preferably with LTA.
• Demonstrate proficiency in quality management procedures for construction and building works.
