This person will report to the Finance Manager and be part of the Finance Team, and to support the Finance Committee and Investment Advisory Committee. He/she has a passion for numbers, attention to detail, and has a strong understanding of Accounting Standards and principles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform variance analysis and prepare various financial reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and budgetary control function.
• Coordinate with external beneficiaries for fund-raising.
• Perform e-filing of tax, regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Handle internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-ministry teams to improve financial processes.
• Perform Accounting System Administrator function.
• Project management & new finance initiatives, e.g. System implementation etc.

Qualification & skill set:

• Degree in Accounting, professionally certified as CPA/FCCA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as an Accountant in a mid to large organisation and/or as an Auditor with an Accounting firm.
• Proficiency in any accounting software (e.g MS Business Central)
• Meticulous and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications; Excel, Power Point, Word & etc

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for new or final year accountancy graduates seeking full time tax work. For senior positions relevant experience is necessary.

JOB SCOPE

• Preparation of Estimated Chargeable Income and Income Tax Computations for companies and other entities

• Preparation of Form C

• Verification of Notice of Assessment

• Assist in replying to tax queries from IRAS

• Filing of withholding tax forms and certificates and arranging of Withholding Tax certificates required by clients

• Completion and filing of individual/ personal income tax returns

• Preparation of GST forms

• Assist in GST ASK review process

• Coordination with clients and IRAS on tax matters

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

• Degree in Accounting

• Relevant experience necessary for senior position. Preferably at 2 years experience

• Possess strong communication and problem-solving skill

• Meticulous and has an eye for details

• Working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
