Co-create with ASEAN/INDIA/OCEANIA business development related members like Products Marketing/Engineering team, Business Development team, Sales team and with related Products Departments in Japan HQ.

POSITION PROFILE:

Based in: Singapore.

The product engineer is responsible for business creation/pre-sale of assigned products to expand ASEAN, India & Oceania business, and support local sales for design wins. Regional travel is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Initiate product marketing and promotion activity of assigned product to expand the business regionally and globally.

• Technical support to get design wins for immediate opportunities and solve technical troubleshooting to maintain business.

• Closely work with internal stage holder and HQ to align goals and build a strategy (solution) to achieve.

• Manage marketing & promotion activity by PDCA system and analyze both success-case and un-success-case, then adjust strategy to achieve the goal.

• Coordinate necessary training for Murata sales and distributors.

• Enhance promotion activity for long tail customers by Digital marketing approach and Exhibition collaborating with MARCOM.

• Proactively investigate regional unique inquiry and develop new business/product with key stakeholders.

• Market analysis, capture ecosystem, identify key players & competitors, create hypothesis of customer's pain point in a selected market, and make an idea to solve customer's pain & how to win with Murata solution against competitors.

• Collaboration project involving bundle promotion, product Q&A, product training with Regional Strategic Marketing section.

Ability / Competency Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is preferred; Applicants with other engineering degrees are welcome to apply.

• Basic Knowledge of electronics, device and market ecosystem, and good market analysis skills.

• Proactive, strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Positive attitude in challenging work environments.

• Available for Travel within the ASEAN, India, Oceania, and Japan region.

Role Overview

To assist in technical investigations in case of fault calls and regularly review the preventive and corrective maintenance activities for property in the aviation sector. He / She should be a competent problem solver on the ground, possessing strong technical knowledge in building and M&E maintenance and ability to liaise with service providers to ensure maintenance or repair works are carried out timely.

Role Responsibilities

To review preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and regulations

To lead technical investigations in response to fault calls

To review documentation on procedure and schedules of maintenance works

To track inventory levels of spare parts, consumables and non-consumable items

To prepare technical reports and / or monthly reports where required

To conduct risk assessments in accordance to regulatory and organisational Workplace Safety and Health(WSH) policies and practices

Responsible for initiating and tracking all purchase requisitions and closing of work orders, including thepreparation of costing for all proposed works to his supervisors for approval and liaison with client reps.

Liaising with term and adhoc contractors for all appointed works and coordinating with relevantstakeholders for approval and work executions, including reporting work progress and completion.

Reporting to the Engineer and appointed reporting supervisor for any adhoc work matters.

• Sets up the automation of manufacturing processes govern the production and delivery of products.
• To streamline the manufacturing process, radically increase productivity and make it as efficient as possible while still maintaining product quality and adhering to internal protocols and external regulations.
• Design, create, generate tools, jigs and fixture for the new line or customer or product. To improve, streamline and automate manufacturing and other processes to reduce the need for human intervention and maximise efficiency.
• Identify new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process, developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation, designing new automation equipment or processes or tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Writing reports outlining new concepts, testing outcomes, and ongoing efficiency
• Troubleshooting automated processes or equipment when errors occur

· Installations - mounting of communication devices and termination of cables

· Commissioning - testing of devices and provision of acceptance test report and documentation on installation works and equipment information

Requirements:

· Electrical engineering background

· Basic MS Office proficiency

POSITION PROFILE:
This position is to organize quality improvement activity, non-conformance control to stabilize the process and to improve product quality and prevent customer complaint(Especially taping). Performing product analysis using particular equipment, handling customer complaint and responding to customer audits and horizontal deployment while influencing related members arealso expected.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· To Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for development and manufacturing products

· To Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents and reports

· To monitor the product quality and process.

· To report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.

· To handle non-conformance products and make judgement affected product quality.

· To participate and lead in internal and external quality audits

· To conduct periodical information sharing meeting with Japan and oversea affiliates.

Ability/Competency required:

· Bachelor’s degree or master degree in any Engineering field.

· Minimum 2 - 3 years working experience in Electronic components(MLCC) manufacturing quality control and assurance field.

· Having MLCC products and process knowledge.

· Good written and communication skills

· Japanese speaking is required to liaise with clients and/or overseas colleagues in Japan and other overseas affiliates

· Having logical thinking and being meticulous with good attention to details.
