Position Profile:

Successful candidate: Candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation, maintenance, and support of AS400 system. The candidate will monitor the system, troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and ensure optimal performance of the AS400 environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain AS400 systems including hardware, software, and related infrastructure components

Role:

Process Engineer will support and drive quality control and root cause investigations for both internal (IQC) and external (OTB and customer defect) findings. Both types of findings require working closely with various departments such as Supplier Quality, Production, Quality Management and RND. He/she is responsible to coordinate for short term containment as well as recommending appropriate improvements for prevention of recurrence.

Process Engineer is responsible for the process control of assigned product and using statistical process control methods, he/she is required to review and analyse data to ensure process stability. He/she will develop critical process metrics that can be monitored on a regular basis and resolving bottlenecks at the root cause. Process control also includes periodic review and updating of all work procedures and checklists in accordance with ISO9001 standards. He/she is required to develop and maintain FMEA and control plans for the assigned processes.

As a stakeholder in Product Sustaining Group (PSG), he/she will support PSG in technical queries for manufacturing process when required. He/she will contribute to the review and approval of engineering changes, provide recommendations of improvements and ensuring change is implemented in Production/System Acceptance. In this role, you will have sustaining ownership on key information and critical planning parameters in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We work closely to partner with the various teams in the company to prepare the information for scenario studies and drive continuous enhancements to the plans.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate capacity modelling of assigned Fab area
• Apply industrial engineering concepts to capacity analysis, line management, scheduling and production planning
• Use statistical analysis to maintain and audit manufacturing capacity information
• Design and coordinate projects with several different departments
• Work with management to develop applications to continuously improve production metrics
• Collaborate with research & development and process engineering to plan for future product introduction
• Evaluate scenarios representing changes in modeling, perform what if scenarios as needed, and work with Engineering and Production to understand the impact of the changes
• Coordinate capital purchases and capacity changes with corporate planning and purchasing
• Partner with the Area Managers to keep updated on area issues, priorities and projects

Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional forums, meetings, and activities that drive engagement and alignment across the organization.

• Communicate business metrics and project status with Global Operations leadership
• Analyze demand and supply trends, summarize risks and opportunities to sales, marketing and supply chain teams

Professional Experience Required:

• 3+ years Supply Chain or Planning relevant work experience
• Possess an in-depth business process knowledge of one or more of the following: Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning S&OP and Manufacturing Planning. Deep Supply Chain and best known method knowledge
• 3+ years of related IT or Supply Chain program/project management and leadership
• Experience in implementing any new enterprise-wide Supply Chain solutions

Professional Experience Preferred:

• Working familiarity with several Supply Chain systems/tools in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Order Promising and in-depth knowledge in 1 or 2 tools (like Blue Yonder (JDA), Kinaxis, SAP)
• Understanding of Supply Chain Master Data Management principles and practices
• Experience with Planning in a Semiconductor manufacturing environment is highly valued
