Your Job

As a Test Engineer, your primary purpose is to drive quality, yield, and productivity improvements. About the role

Duty Engineer

The Duty Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing all engineering operations within the hotel. This includes delegating tasks to subordinates, coordinating engineering activities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. • Knowledge in DecSecOps will be an added advantage. ​

Preference:

• ​Experienced with management cloud infrastructure and services / certification with GPC, GCC (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or equivalent cloud platforms will be preferred. ​
• Experience in one or more virtualization technologies (KVM, Xen, VMware, Hyper-V). ​
• Good understanding of the Linux operating system. ​
• Good understanding of Infra-as-code and Policy-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the Instrument & Control ITP inspection and test in compliance with rules and Tai Power requirement.
• Ensuring that the deliverables from engineering, fabrication, and principal contractors are of the right quality, according to company and industry requirements
• Supporting engineering design review and provide feedback from basic design, details design up to shop drawings such as SCADA, CCTV, Helideck weather monitoring, ESD, telecommunication, F&G
• Interpreting, implementing, and documenting the overall control philosophy across the wind farm components
• Preparing Instrument & Control equipment technical spec and RFQ for supporting procurement team during quotation sourcing
• Participate in preparation and review of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) of the wind farm offshore substations (OSS) and commissioning procedure.
• Involving in EC/MC completion test package preparation to ensure construction completion handed over as per sequence and schedule
• Perform a daily supervision of the installation and commissioning
• Attending daily call out inspection and work closely with shipyard construction team, QA and commissioning team
• Involving in wind farm OSS final acceptance test / Proof Concept test procedure preparation.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for wind farm OSS equipment
• Involving in O&M procedure preparation and conducting OSS maintenance execution during operation.
• In association with the Maintenance Systems group, review and update the technical content of the preventive maintenance procedures and to recommend changes where improvements in safety, quality or economy may be effected
• Contributing to the continuous development of new technologies to improve the performance and usability of our wind farm control systems

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Communication Engineering
• Knowledge in SCADA, PLA or DCS control system
