Job Role and Responsibilities :
· Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings.
· Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/ authorities.
· Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries.
· Lead in preparing and participate in tendering of projects.
· Design management, coordination and project control on major projects.
. Carry out structural design analysis and calculations;
. Participate in the tendering processes and monitors the work of contractors and subcontractors;
. Maintain overall records of incoming and outgoing documents, drawing registers, RFI and shop drawings to ISO standard compliance;
. Able to resolve/review design, specifications, calculations, and other submittals, ensure the designs and models developed are in accordance to project requirements and attend to site queries/ issues;
. Provide technical support to fabrication queries
. Review and approve contractor’s shop drawings and material submissions.
· Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
. Bachelor degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent;
. Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
· Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills, team-player
· Have good knowledge of common engineering design software.
· Good project management skills and strong analytical skills
· Able to work under pressure with good time management skill.
