JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the various tests applied to products for optimum test coverage in meeting customer & product specifications. Performs top defects failure analysis, test yield improvement, 1st article approvals, ECN changes, calibration of equipment and maintenance/updating of test procedure documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish testing strategies, flow and procedures to ensure smooth, effective and efficient running of production.

• Perform test capacity planning to ensure testers' capacities are maximized and sufficient.

• Constantly improve test yield via CIP/RMA activities.

• Generate, update, review and maintain the Venture Standard Operating Procedure.

• Lead a group of Test Engineering Assistants / Technicians & ensure compliance to quality standards, company guidelines and procedures, to whilst providing necessary support to production.

• Validate and maintain test equipment in good condition and maintain a master list of test equipment in the production to ensure the most current revisions are implemented on the line.

• Review and evaluate 1st article samples before submitting to customers (if applicable).

• Participate in product transfer activities & NPI support.

• Generate and validate test reports prior to publication.

• Maintain minimum debug WIP through test yield improvements & resource management.

• Liaise with customers on product related issues for improvements - NPI and existing products.

• Constantly looking into better test efficiencies and better test coverage to achieve 1st class quality at minimum cost.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

• Participate in cost Saving measures and LEAN initiative.

AUTHORITY

• Participate in MRB disposition of parts and problem solving.

• Recommend test equipment, test fixtures and improve test program to ensure products meet the required quality and achieve high efficiencies. Implement changes according to ECN.

• Remove measuring/test equipment from production line that are out of calibration.

• Review calibration report prior to release or for necessary disposition if deemed unfit for use .

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or its equivalent preferred, with 2-3 years relevant experience in a highly competitive product manufacturing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Performs Automation maintenance, including Preventive maintenance and periodic review of system, system backup, disaster recovery, and obsolescence activities, and ensures automation systems remain in a validated state.
• Ensures timely resolution of identified automation issues and unplanned events identified in the daily walk-through.
• Updates the SOPs and SDLC documentation to ensure compliance to regulatory standards and ensures documents are generated and maintained to the required standards and appropriate frequency.
• Prepares and perform AIQ/AOQ, test plans, and documentation, ensuring documentation meets required regulatory standards.
• Perform automation change controls (recipes, process sequence, interlocks etc.) with guidance from Automation Lead (including impact assessments, executes field equipment modifications, performs pre- and post- execution reviews, test plans, update documents, coordinating with cross functional group) to ensure that changes are raised and closed on time following the required quality standards.
• Participate or lead quality or safety investigations and implement any automation solutions resultant from these investigations.
• Supports a continuous improvement framework within Automation and works with Leads to identify and implement improvements.
• Participates in HAZOP reviews and completes action items as required.
• Support Site Capital Projects.
• Develops and updates Automation training packages, and conducts Automation training

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electronics & Electrical, Instrumentation, Information Technology or Chemical Engineering
• 0-6 years relevant technical experience in Process Automation, preferably in a batch pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
• Extensive knowledge and experience in process automation system, preferably in Yokogawa DCS or Emerson DeltaV
• Good Communication skills and good team player
• Open to fresh graduates with relevant internship experience

Below are the roles & responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer.

1.)Plan, monitor, execute assigned projects and deliver project on time.

2.)Ensure all work is carried out according to safe working practices.

3.)Design of control systems including control circuit ,PLC interface, HMI and Electrical AutoCad drawing.

4.)PLC programming using Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemen or other types may be added according to the requirement.

5.)Electrical panel wiring and panel assembly works.

6.)Bill of materials preparation.

7.)Purchase of electrical components required for the projects.

9.)Troubleshooting equipment faults or error.

10.)Support sales team on technical matters and RFQs.

12.)Upload project drawings, PLC program and documentation to company server.

Education :

Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering

Work Experience :

3~5 year knowledge and experience on instrument, hand on panel wiring, PLC programming or C language programming.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of project
• Liaise with consultants and /or sub-contractors on the project matters
• Attend meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-cons on the project related matters
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• Carry out in-progress inspection and joint inspection and to ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standard
• Update the project quality plan as and when appropriate
• Assist Project Manager on the tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably Seior Executive Specialized in Engineering- Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
