• Participate in site meetings and technical discussions to ensure alignment on commercial aspects
• Conduct regular contract performance reviews and audits of subcontractors and suppliers
• Provide planning support and maintain project information for reporting purposes
• Evaluate, review, and prepare regular reports for the Corporate Estimating Manager on the performance and success of the commercial team, highlighting challenges, risks, opportunities, and project progress
• Liaise, coordinate, discuss, and negotiate with suppliers on the purchase or rental of plant machinery or equipment
• Review cost comparison before purchase or rental of machinery or equipment

Job Requirements :

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, or commercial roles.
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and a systematic approach to work
• Excellent written, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to analyze contractual and legal issues and provide solutions using appropriate problem-solving techniques
• Proficient and competent in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel.
• 5.5 days work week
• Willing to work on Construction Site
• Extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects (e.g., infrastructure, MRT projects, and high-rise developments ) will be advantageous.

ROLE OVERVIEW

• Conducting research in strategic regions and global trends
• Attune the team to market trends, competitive landscape and industry development
• Coordinate and prepare organizational, brand, and market proposals, presentations and credentials statements
• Conducting feasibility studies of individual and portfolio projects
• Planning and assisting the corporate and regional teams with reviews of business development plans, entries and submissions of reports
• Supporting the Head of Department for deal management and pursuit of business development opportunities in APAC

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Job Skills

• Generation, support and execution of business development market studies, research projects, proposals and deals for all brands in hotel/resorts, residential, golf, spa or such other products, globally, including but not limited to hospitality industry market trend reports and analysis
• Feasibility studies
• Sound knowledge in hospitality markets and structuring inter-organizational commercial relationships
• Knowledge of hospitality industry in a wide variety of regions
• Proposals, reports, pitch presentations
• Hotel profit and loss statements

Background:

• 2-5 years of hospitality experience
• Hotel consultant and/or research experience
• Education and training in Business or Hospitality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work both independently and as a team in time sensitive environment
• Precise and detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Exhibit strong work ethic and team work

• Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality
• Knowledgeable in terms of standard procedures and policies
