This role will join the Product PR team and report into SEA Senior PR Manager, to help create and implement PR initiatives for Apple's iPhone and Apple Intelligence business with an emphasis on social-first campaigns. We are looking for candidates that possess strong PR and communications skills, along with a consistent track record driving PR results across consumer technology and consumer lifestyle. Ideal profiles are passionate about cultivating new relationships with media and creators, and skilled at developing unique narratives and storylines that resonate with online audiences.

Description

The successful candidate will bring energy, ideas and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition. This person will be responsible for iPhone as a camera for the world’s most innovative photographers, as a mobile edit suite film makers using software like iMovie, for social content creators on TikTok and Instagram, or for citizen journalists in urban centres. They will have more than an ear to the ground: they will be immersed in an iPhone-enabled culture of photographers, producers, content creators, influencers and media to support all Southeast Asia markets while directly managing Singapore and Malaysia. This person will also be responsible for proactive and reactive communications for Apple’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) work, which includes Siri, new Apple Intelligence features across all Apple products and services, and other projects.

• This role will work in partnership with the senior manager to create strategies and deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of products and their software across Southeast Asia.
• The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This may include other product PR managers covering iPad, Mac and Services, country product PR teams in Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, Product Marketing and Marcom teams.
• You will help us find new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the world’s most exciting work, and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories.
• This role will involve travel up to 30%.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
• 8+ years experience in public relations, influencer relations or PR agency in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the scheduling of meetings, availabilities, scheduling of cases and sharing of case documents.
• Track submission of forms
• Extract, input and upload all relevant data from reports and supporting documents into the system;
• Provide support in field work with Adult Protection Officers
• Support in collation of data when required (e.g. monthly sighting of Vulnerable Adults and ad-hoc requests)
• File management; and Administrative and corporate support including minute taking

Requirements

As a Cloud Economics Business Development Manager, you will help AWS customers shape their strategies and IT financial models, and quantify both the cost and value benefits of running applications in the cloud. To do this, you will collaborate with AWS sales teams to engage prospective customers to share best practices finance strategies and build board-ready migration business cases. You will identify economic barriers in the adoption of AWS and develop strategies to overcome these barriers. You will communicate the economic value proposition for AWS to a broad audience of Finance, Business and IT leaders by engaging directly with C-level executives, IT professionals and influencers at all levels.

Your responsibilities will involve driving business development activities within AWS that have an financial impact, working together with sales teams on our most strategic customer engagements. You will serve as an expert resource on the financial modeling of IT applications and infrastructure and quantification of value benefits. In appropriate cases you will bring in other AWS resources as necessary to help our customers properly evaluate their IT options from an economic perspective.

The ideal candidate will have financial acumen to drive an engagement and interact with AWS customers. They will have the technical knowledge and business experience to communicate the economic benefits of computing to IT architects, engineering teams and C-Level executives.
