Job Summary

Our prestigious client is seeking for a Network Engineer(s) to enhance and maintain the network performance service level to ensure the smooth business operations within the organization. You will be responsible to handle the incident response & investigation, working with vendors and the respective teams to efficiently resolve issues within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or Information Technology;
• At least 7 years of working experience in managing IT system network operations and support (24x7), service recovery, problem management, risk mitigation and impact assessment;
• Proven track record with over 7 years of hands-on experience in successfully implementing IT infrastructure projects for LAN and WAN environments;
• Proficient in installing and configuring a wide range of network technologies, including LAN, WAN,VoiP, WiFi, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, security gateways, VPNs, 802.1x protocol, VLANs, and L2/3 switches;
• Skilled in using monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools to ensure optimal network performance and troubleshoot issues efficiently;
• Experience in project and vendor management;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Skill-set

• Professional and technical certifications that include CCIE, CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, ITIL, PMP, CITPM, CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the network operations, incident handling, maintenance, compliance, and renewal of IT infrastructure systems (Wired/Wireless) to ensure all systems are working in good condition to maintain normal operations;
• Ensure proper project and change management to ensure delivered solutions meet technical, functional, performance and business requirements;
• Coordinate with vendors and act as a point of contact for mitigation measures and assist to resolve the issues and investigation for root cause;
• Collaborate with the IT teams to address vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents;
• Responsible to detect signs of abnormality and to report overall system health status to ensure recovery actions, correction actions and preventive measures are in place for every incident reported;
• Lead and manage 24/7 operations and conduct periodic audits to ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies;
• Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting;
• Scheduling and coordinating network upgrades while investigating network faults;
• Provide regular reports to senior management on network performance, incident resolution, and compliance status.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Provide back office functions support for Investment products for Corporate Action events (such as Proxy meetings/Stock splits and mergers) and dividend payments
• Participate and contribute to the projects and process enhancements initiatives handled by the team with specific project/learning outcomes
• Timely handling of transactions, meeting and exceeding the Service expectation with internal clients
• Review/Propose/Initiate process automation or system / process projects

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To advise management on relevant Acts & Legislation pertaining to environmental and health
• Monitor to air, water (ECM) noise pollution, waste management and vector control issues
• Liaise with license pest operator or agent
• To monitor noise readings and advise management accordingly
• To conduct regular site inspection, particularly on ECM, perimeter drainage system, silt facilities, poor housekeeping that will encourage pest breeding, workers living and cooking condition, sanitary facilities etc.
• Together with health supervisor to discuss findings & recommend measures to the occupier to correct non-compliances and verification of action taken
• Prepare fortnightly report to management on Environmental control
• To act according to what is stipulated in the company’s environmental programme, conduct review and make recommendation for improvements
• Conduct investigation on industrial diseases, pest infested area and implement measure to stop its spread & prevent recurrence
• To liaise with relevant authorities on environmental & health issues
• Implementation of departmental procedures to comply with ISO 9001; 14001; OHSAS 18001 standard requirements, documented procedures as well as client, companies, authorities’ requirements
• Any other related duties assigned by superior from time to time

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process
• Participate in project meetings
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders

Requirement:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Min 4 years working experience in residential and industrial projects
