Job Description
1. Plan and design annual and perennial flower beds.
2. Grow potted plants and nursery stock and maintain records on the growing operation.
3. Supervise subordinate personnel in work site and in the proper methods and techniques of planting ornamental plants.
4. Train ground personnel in the techniques of pruning, wound dressing, cavity repair and the cabling and bracing of trees and shrubs.
5. Prepare order for various types of plants and seeds.
6. Conduct inventory, map and label trees and shrubs on work site for instructional and maintenance purposes.
7. Assist in the preparation of maintenance programs for the control of plant diseases and insects.
8. Prepare fertilizer programs for various types of plants.
9. Confer with landscape architect and other personnel in the selection of plants.
10. Manage and lead all channel and distribution of landscaping activities.
11. Develop, define, align and deliver the KPIs with Landscape Department Managers in line with business strategy.
12. Prepare Bill of Quantities, Cost Estimation & Budget, and Material Take off statements reconciliation statement, checking bills and estimation of man hours requirement.
13. Establish robust plan, conduct and review processes with landscaping team to ensure delivery targets are met.
14. Coordinate with internal departments, other project managers at sites, consultants and vendors.
15. Develop a solid and sustainable organization for the business to succeed.
16. Check material list and check drawing list & site organization chart.
17. Liaise with main contractor, subcontractor, supplier and proper handover to customer upon project completion.
18. Approve / endorse final price before sales quote to customers.
19. Take over on the overall management of project, including VO and WO works.
20. Check claims prior to submission to customers.
