Main Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyse, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor supply chain
• performance.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline supply chain operations and

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain

• Demand Planning, Forecasting and Inventory Planning:
• Develop accurate demand forecasts, and monitor forecasts based on market trends, sales
• data, and other relevant factors.
• Support development and review of monthly production plans to suppliers.
• Optimize inventory levels and develop inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts
• and excess inventory.
• Monitor inventory performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Diploma with at least 2-3 years of working experience in Semiconductors, Trading or Distributors
• Able to speak Japanese
• Experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in an inventory planning or supply
• chain environment.
• Understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain dynamics.
• Willing to travel overseas to meet customers or suppliers when necessary
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Associates who can only converse in Mandarin

The Operations Manager – Transport Operations will be responsible for managing the daily logistics, transportation, and distribution functions of the company. This includes optimising routing, managing delivery vehicles and personnel, coordinating with third-party carriers, and ensuring on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in transport operations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the transport operations, including route planning, fleet management, and carrier coordination.

• Oversee the scheduling and timely delivery of products to customers, distribution centers, and retail partners.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.

• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight companies, and other transport partners.

• Implement and monitor KPIs related to delivery performance, cost control, and service quality.

• Ensure the maintenance and availability of the company’s fleet, including scheduling regular vehicle inspections and repairs.

• Analyze and report on transport costs, identifying opportunities for savings and operational improvements.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as warehouse management, procurement, and customer service to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

• Implement technology solutions, such as route optimization software or GPS tracking, to improve operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, fleet management, and logistics software

• Proven experience managing third-party carriers and in-house fleet operations.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret transport metrics and drive improvements.

• Experience in negotiating with carriers and logistics service providers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.

• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
