Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand data analytics needs and study objectives.
• Lead data-driven projects and initiatives to develop analytical solutions using appropriate algorithms or tools, e.g., apply advanced machine learning models such as Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, Support Vector Machines and Neural Networks, etc.).
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, and preprocessing independently.
• Implement and deploy models in the analytics platform / clinical system and integrate with application workflow to support patient care and health services delivery.
• Work closely with requestors and/or stakeholders to drive adoption of analytics insights / model results into workflow.
• Document data analytics projects conducted, maintain the developed models, and assist to resolve requestors’ issues.
• Increase awareness of analytic work through high quality journal publications and conference presentations.
• Seek collaborations and apply research fundings.
• Conduct training and sharing sessions on data analysis and analytics.
• Mentor junior Data Analyst.

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is a Key Finance Business Partner, for the SEA business.

This role will work with SSC to ensure the timely and accurate execution of the monthly reporting and is responsible for the Forecasting and Analysis for the SEA business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting, with support from SSC

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly management reports, including sales and inventory analysis, for management review and group consolidation
• Review tririga lease information submitted by SSC
• Prepare, analyse and share all monthly reporting packages for review with APAC team
• Follow up with Store Planning to ensure all committed capex are well recorded and aligned with approved capex.
• Communicate monthly spending reports to Budget owners for monitoring and tracking of spend versus Budget / Forecasts
• Coordinate with SSC for compliance to auditors, tax consultants, bankers and government agencies; reviewing schedules to assess the accuracy of the financial reporting

Budget and Forecasts

• Responsible for the timely submission for budget and forecasts for SEA entities and the reporting package to APAC

Controlling

• Cost management and control with budget owners to manage budget and justify spending.
• Working with Retail team in SEA, to guide and support business plans, projects roll out in-store
• Review and ensure improvement in business process, to ensure all compliance to regulations and group policy

New projects and contracts

• Prepare financial model and feasibility studies for new business opportunities
• Coordinate the legal review on Lease agreements before submission to HQ before director’s signatory
• Monthly submission of Leases summary

Others

• Main contact with Kering Legal on required board resolutions and update of directors information

Ad-hoc projects

• Key contact for Finance transformation project for Brand with SSC to ensure successful roll out to SAP and other application

PRE-REQUISITE

• University graduate in Accountancy or related disciplines
• Qualified accountant
• Minimum 6 years working experience, preferably in luxury retail industry
• Audit or Internal Control experience preferred but not a must
• Proven strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical mind and good business sense

The Job

To maximise overall hotel room revenue through the development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand, current trends and historical data to drive market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive market share and revenue performance through proper pricing and mix management.
• Daily checks on rate discrepancies and total room revenue and occupancy.
• Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
• Manage all inventory (transient, group, wholesale allotments and other) and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rdparty sites, Starlink and the GDS.
