Management Trainee (Sports Enrichment Development for the Young)
The Role
As a management trainee, you will be part of a cohesive team passionate about fencing and character development. You will have an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children and youth by serving as their role model in our programme focused on sportsmanship, fun, skill development and character strength development.
The position, which provides much learning and training opportunities, is demanding and requires a professional level of commitment. No experience or qualification is as important as your hunger, humility, honesty and willingness to learn and be coached.
It's not work, it's a calling - to work with kids to help them become better people through focus, discipline, and determination. We call these the Character Strengths and Habits of Success.
Job Description :
- Deliver life skills and character development learning through fencing to young children. We will teach you the fencing skills, and your task is to role model the character strengths that will inspire the young students to be better persons.
- Implement and supervise programmes for children between 4 to 16 years old.
- Interest in creating interactive and educational activities.
- Establish rapport and communicate regularly with parents and teammates.
- Able to support day-to-day operations.
- Any other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements & Skills:
- Individuals who believe in the role of sports in shaping character and life success.
- Have good communication skills and a genuine love for working with children and youth.
- Knowledge in sports science or management, fitness or early childhood, character education, or a strong interest and plan to pursue these areas as your next career move if you are from a different field.
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Hardworking, honest, humble, positive attitude, hungry to learn and eager to help others achieve their best.
- IT proficient in PC office applications (Ms Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
- 5-days’ work week must work weekends and shift hours.
- Successful candidates will be offered training in a supportive environment that values long-term growth and a rewarding career pathway in coaching development.
- Any educational level - Singaporean and PR.
