What is it like being a Senior Personal Financial Consultant at OCBC?

As a Senior Personal Financial Consultant, you will be based at one of our island-wide Branches and will provide comprehensive, one-stop financial advisory services to customers through the active promotion and cross-selling of our full range of wealth management products that include insurance, loans, unit trusts and structured deposits. With an emphasis on consultative selling to meet customers’ needs, you will also proactively build and manage long-term customer relationship and provide good after-sales service to them.

To help you succeed in your role, you will join our structured training program during the first 6 weeks of your career with us. Thereafter you will also have at least 5 training days every year to help you further develop your career and keep your skills sharp and up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry.

As a successful Personal Financial Consultant, you will have the option to take your career forward by either pursuing our Management Route, on the path of becoming a Branch Manager one day, or the Sales Route, growing into a Senior Relationship Manager working with premier private clients. Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Formulate, construct, deploy, and sustain the IT Technology Governance and Control framework, Policies, and Processes encompassing IT System Development and Maintenance, IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Assets Management (ITAM), and IT Security and Operations, particularly emphasizing Identity Access Management across Singapore Branch and APAC Branches.
• Develop IT Control objectives aligned with regulatory mandates (e.g., MAS TRMG, BNM RMIT) and internal IT protocols of the bank.
• Ensure adherence to the bank's IT Governance policies and procedures, and execute initiatives to reinforce the governance framework, such as conducting system risk assessments for enhancements or new system onboarding in collaboration with IT system owners.

• Oversee the implementation of an effective IAM toolset such as SailPoint.
• Ensure the application of relevant controls, including reviewing end-users' system access requests, granting appropriate provisioning, timely de-provisioning, and conducting periodic reviews to prevent unauthorized access.
• Review and assess user access matrices (UAM) for respective systems, collaborating with IT system owners to ensure proper segregation of duties within the system.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of IT Governance and Control functions.
• Knowledge in Identity Access Management (IAM) and IT Auditing.
• Serve as a recognized authority in Identity Access Management, particularly in the management of system and user access controls.
• Demonstrate proficiency in recognizing process risks and devising effective control mechanisms to ensure the efficacy of implemented controls.
