What You Will Be Doing

The shortlisted candidate will report to the Manager and provide administrative and outreach support to the department.

A. Marketing and Outreach

• Represent SUSS to promote the university and programme offerings in both local and overseas outreach activities.
• Assist Outreach Team Lead on allocation of team resources for outreach activities.
• Assist Outreach Team Lead on liaison matters with internal and external stakeholders for outreach activities.
• Prepare marketing collaterals and procure premiums for all outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate and relevant statistics for outreach activities.
• Undertake programme counselling - manage enquiries via phone, emails and manage applicants or leads’ enquiries via CRM system.

B. Admissions and Selection

• Assist Manager in admissions-related work, which includes applications and admission processing of full-time undergraduate programmes.
• Assist in the planning and execution of selections interviews for admissions, and other admissions-related activities.
• Communicate matriculation information and details to enrolled students.

C. Others

• Participate and assist in University-wide activities as specified in the respective action plans and/or duty rosters, e.g., examination invigilation, orientation, convocation, etc.
• Assist with any other ad-hoc projects, tasks and duties as necessary and/or assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree Holder with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in marketing and administrative, and customer service/administration
• Bilingual with good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• PC literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to do data analysis and information research
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to work independently and take initiative

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Deputy Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in the Finance team to deliver the full spectrum of professional finance, tax and compliance activities to Woh Hup (WH) Group of companies. This position offers the opportunity to gain a deep expertise within the finance & tax function with the ability to work with senior stakeholders including those in joint ventures, banks, and government bodies, and to lead and drive business optimization projects from the planning through to implementation.

Given the dynamic nature of the business, the below is a non-exhaustive list of deliveries expected from the candidate. However, it covers the foundation responsibilities and capabilities that are required for the candidate to be successful in this role.

• Governance and compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Assist in planning, designing, and implementing compliance and governance frameworks, programmes, and initiatives to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develop strategies. Participate in internal control review and follow-up on actions for gap closure.
• Corporate Income Tax: Prepare and review corporate income tax computations and tax related work for Singapore Corporate Income Tax (“CIT”) compliance. Assist to oversee and manage tax compliance delivery process for the Group for local and regional portfolios. Coordinate the completion of any required tax compliance for the Group including follow up with internal contributors to ensure timely responses to requests and completion of tax filings. Contribute in development of tax control framework and processes to drive accuracy and efficiency in the direct tax compliance delivery.
• Indirect Tax: Preparing and reviewing GST returns prior to submission to IRAS. Conducting GST health checks on GST returns. Reviewing and providing advice on GST compliance processes. Assist in tax audits and queries from tax authorities. Assist Deputy Finance Manager in relation to Transfer Pricing compliance including planning of comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies for local and regional portfolios.
• Change management and growth opportunities: Support and shadow the Deputy Finance Manager for transformation and growth projects, e.g. but not limited to new business new ventures/expansion, supporting through providing finance and tax advice and initiatives to adopt new tax legislations and controls, mitigate risks and project managing implementation of new systems and digital transformation.

Skills and Requirements

• A degree in Finance/ Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience and expertise across the spectrum of Finance/Tax competences with solid foundation in tax reporting / compliance, financial accounting, operational accounting and reporting, and working knowledge of IT systems implementations. Finance professional qualification and SAP knowledge preferred.
• Confident in managing large and complex data sets in Excel and in a wider digital environment. Able to assess data, extract insights from financial and accounting software and navigate between different types of digital tools to produce results. Continuously learning new and better ways to manage and analyze data to support business outcomes.
• They are an effective communicator with ability to gain the confidence of various internal and external parties building on strong knowledge and understanding of the business drivers, value and risk. Job Description:

• Responsible for developing and optimizing dry etch processes to support IME’s various program requirements.
• Create process innovations related to dry etch process, which may involve design and development of novel gas mixture and/or masking material.
• Setup and execute design of experiments (DOEs) and evaluate experimental data to meet appropriate process specifications.
• Champion process window characterization and evaluation to drive quality and yield improvement.
• Closely collaborate with process integration teams to implement technology roadmaps, define process capability requirements, and address structural implications and constraints related to dry etch process.
• Act as a subject matter expert and resource for colleagues in various programs and lead small projects.
• Work with fab team in establishing statistical process control for dry etch systems.
• Generate and present reports to both internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Microelectronics Engineering, or closely related fields are welcome to apply.
• Prior 5 years direct experience in semiconductor dry etch module is preferred.
• Good understanding of plasma physics, chemical reactions and mechanisms related to semiconductor dry etching process is desired.
• Working knowledge and prior hands-on experience in Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies, statistical root cause analysis, and problem-solving methods, is desired
• Understanding of dry etch system hardware is advantageous.
• Knowledge and prior hands-on experience on basic process characterization techniques such as SEM/TEM, EDX, SIMS, AFM, Ellipsometry is advantageous.
