Our UI/UX designers are the champions of the end-user, crafting and guiding the user experience for each of our games and products. You’ll work closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to conceptualize, design, and iterate in support of all gameplay features and systems, with the ultimate objective being to deliver the world’s most delightful arcade experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Work with game designers to translate game system requirements into amazing user experiences
• Craft a delightful and consistent user flow for each product’s target platforms (VR, arcade cabinet, desktop, tablet, phone, etc…)
• Create wireframes, concept sketches to support purposed UI interaction models
• Leverage a deep understanding of the product vision to create remarkable visual identities and design languages that support the user experience
• Work collaboratively with project teams, and iterate using feedback and user testing to drive and polish features to a high-quality state
• Collaborate with a team of artists and engineers to carry design from concept into final implementation
• Craft UX artifacts to communicate solutions (flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc.)
• Design and visualize user interface screens, transitions, animations, and VFX.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a UI/UX designer in gaming, or related digital interaction design field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of usability design principals
• Deep understanding of information hierarchy, layout design, UX process, and usability design principles
• Awareness of current trends in user interface design
• Ability to make independent creative decisions, get stakeholder buy-in, and work with a team to execute

Overall Job Purpose

• To lead and manage the E3D admin team. Develop, update and maintain databases, catalogue, specifications and customization for the assigned projects. This includes helping and monitoring all Engineering subcontractors of the assigned project.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering
Certification(s): Aveva E3D/PDMS course completion or training or Equivalent.

Relevant Experience:

• 15 or more years of experience in a Aveva E3D environment and demonstrated proficiency with Cats/Spec and with material take-off. Knowledge of standard drafting techniques applicable to offshore industry.

Software:

• Discipline design tools and 3D modeling including AVEVA E3D, MDS, PML and Auto CAD.
