Role Overview

As the Compliance Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive compliance strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic individual to support the Group consolidation team in all financial and management reporting including presentation of reports.

Job Description

• Perform group consolidation for financial and management reporting (forecast and budget), in accordance with the statutory requirements (IFRS) as well as company policies and procedures.
• Work with designated business units on timely submission of group reports to Parent company
• Manage legal entity full set of accounts, including interactions with tax agents for corporate income tax return and quarterly GST/VAT returns.
• Involve in preparation and consolidation of group budgets and forecasts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and variance analysis
• Coordinate and oversee the year-end statutory audit, working closely with BUs to ensure timely completion and submission of audited financials within specified deadlines.
• Participate actively in regular sales pipeline and business reviews with sales and operating business units.
• Support the team in the rollout of process improvement projects and handle ad-hoc assignments as needed.
• Support any other ad-hoc assignments as required

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Minimum two years of consolidation experience at Group level
• Good knowledge of International Accounting Standard and preparation of consolidation financial statements
• Ability to communicate and work across all levels of employees
• Fluent in English, both oral and written

Key Skills:

Hadoop , Data Lake, SQL , Cloudera, Informatica, Manage Hadoop cluster in across all 4 environments (SIT, UAT, PROD and DR)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data

Should have good knowledge and working experience in Database and Hadoop (Hive, Impala, Kudu).

Should have good knowledge and working experience in scripting using (Shell script, awk programming, quick automation to integrating any third party tools), BMC monitoring tools
Good understanding and knowledge in Data Modelling area using industry standard data model like (FSLDM)

Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions
It will be good to have experience in working with No SQL as well as virtualized Database Environment

Implement data transformations, aggregations, and computations using Spark RDDs, DataFrames, and Datasets, and integrate them with Elasticsearch
Develop and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant Spark applications, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, performance, and data quality in the Spark-Elasticsearch integration
Monitor and analyze job performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose optimizations in both Spark and Elasticsearch components

Prior experience in developing banking application using ETL, Hadoop is mandatory. In depth knowledge of technology stack at global banks is mandatory.

Executive Housekeeper

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Prepare roster for the managerial team to ensure leadership coverage on all shifts
• Organize induction and on boarding program for new colleagues and trainees
• Take an active role in the planning, execution and monitoring of cleanliness and maintenance to ensure that Housekeeping areas are consistently maintained at high standards.
• Ensure compliance to local government Employment Regulations.
• Monitor and improve work safety standards to avoid any health and injury hazards occurring from malpractice.

• Attend the daily operations briefing as well as others meetings as required
