Research Work

While a reasonably coherent set of desiderata are emerging around the attributes of AI systems deployed insensitive contexts such as public service delivery or the management of public infrastructure, there isinsufficient certainty about what things like responsibility, explainability, or transparency really mean.Further, it is an open question how they are to be achieved in practice. The research project will thus comprisetwo distinct but essentially connected aspects.

• The initial question is What are the requirements of RAI in the context of public administration? Thisraises a cluster preliminary questions, including: How do we identify the requirements of RAI in any givencontext; Can the requirements of RAI ever by fully determined in any context?; and How do we proceedif the requirements of RAI are fundamentally open-textured and context-specific?
• Once the requirements of RAI have been identified (or, just as likely, assuming they cannot be completelydetermined), the how can these requirements be operationalised? This will entail a number of questionsaround the operationalisation of RAI at three levels:
• Technical arrangements to ensure RAI (eg, data hygiene, model training, finetuning, guardrails, metaprompts,constitutional AI, etc)
• Organisational and operational arrangements to ensure RAI (eg, human in/on/over the loop, managerialcontrol and accountability, behavioural aspects of human-machine interaction, etc)

Job Description

Facilities Executive is to provide administrative and logistics support to church’s activities and programmes. They are expected to work closely with the different stakeholders to ensure that the logistics set up for events, programmes and activities are properly arranged. They will report directly to their Supervisor who will have oversight of their work.

Responsibilities: -

• All administration support which includes but not limiting to:

o Review, craft and upkeep SOP

o Documentations, filing and updating of records

o Agenda management, writing of meeting minutes

o Organising of meetings

• Manage and upkeep facilities booking system
• Assist supervisor in working with various contractors on the day-to-day maintenance and cleaning operations
• Liaise and coordinate with different internal and/or external parties on their booking requirements
• Site visit/orientation on various church amenities if needed
• Support AV team on their sound and video system setup when required
• Supervise a team of cleaners to ensure that the premises are clean
• Plan weekly/monthly work schedule
• Manage carpark reservations from Ministries
• Manage, monitor and replenish pantry supplies and cleaning supplies
• Manage the record for the inventory, conditions and movement
• Any other ad-hoc duties when needed

Competencies: -

• Min 2-3 year of working experience in facilities management and/or related field
• Min Diploma in Facilities Management or related field
• Able to work on shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Good initiative, organizational skills and ability to relate to all level of people
• Any AV system knowledge is a plus, otherwise, willing to be trained is needed
• Proficient in Computer knowledge and MS Office skills
• Good customer service aptitude and enjoy interaction with all level of people
