• Perform cost estimate for the assigned discipline, in accordance with the tender contract requirement, specifications and timeline.
• Prepare material take off and equipment specifications / datasheets independently.
• Prepare requisition document and ensure completeness of scope and specifications in accordance with tender/ contract and customer requirements.
• Sources quotation from production department, subcontractors and vendors, attend to clarifications promptly to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare cost breakdowns on price schedule format as specified by tender/ contract leads and/or customers and prepare total cost summary and refine the cost breakdown as required based on tender/ contract and customer requirements.
• Evaluates quotation and makes recommendation of selection.
• Lead negotiation with subcontractors and vendors for the discipline in charged, challenge and resolve subcontractors/ vendors qualifications in meeting tender/ contract and pricing requirements.
• Attend clarification/ negotiation meetings with customers.
• Coordinate with technical and project management team on technical proposal submission and enquiries and ensure any technical gaps are addressed or taken up in the submission.
• Perform cost trends studies to identify potential risks in project design development and to devise guidelines for cost estimates.
• Maintain cost database and information collation for past estimating cases and studies.
• Assist Tender/ Contract Leads for any ad hoc assigned tasks.
• Provide support to project management team for ongoing projects' pricing claims/ disputes/ subcontract related to the discipline in charged.
• Incorporate lessons learnt from projects to cost estimate and tender proposal.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering disciplines, preferably EIT
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a contract management role, contract administration role, purchasing or contracting.
• Highly detail-oriented to spot inconsistencies in contracts.
• Possess superior ability in negotiating terms and drafting contracts, strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities
• Candidates with prior experience working in Offshore, Engineering or Construction areas is highly valued

Job Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Stage:

• Review of scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings and Specifications.
• Responsible for timely and completeness of taking off measurement, and ensure completeness of QS team measurement.
• Compilation and preparation of Tender Queries submission to respective Consultants, and follow up on the reply and ensure all
• information are been updated to all respective parties.
• Obtain, compile, and evaluate quotations from vendors according to tender requirements.
• Prepare quotations to clients, ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid.

Post Contract Stage:

• Cost Control.
• Cost Estimation.
• Calling of quotation and quotation analysis.
• Prepare Progress Claim and Progress Payment.
• Identify potential claims and Variation Order based on the contract deviation.
• Prepare Main and Sub contract's final accounts.
• Contract Administration.
• Work and establish relationships with all stakeholders.

• Any other related Quantity Surveying Works which is not mentioned above.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Company including but not limited to Tender, Sub-Contract and Main Contract.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the building construction industry in Singapore, preferably with a Main Contractor.
• Experience in HDB Tender/Project is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Experienced in tendering for projects.
• Proficient computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Skilled in project management software.

Job Description & Requirements

• Manage Sales Activities including address customers' enquiries, invoices & delivery orders, sales order processing, initialling of quotations and collection of payments.
• Perform support to sales admin & marketing functions.
• Site visit / meeting to discuss on delivery requirement. Updating data, filing and others sales support.
• Provide inside sales support to internal department to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other Ad-hoc sales & admin duties assigned.
• Follow up marketing channel management.
• Propose and conduct build-up of an efficient net-work of distributors in assigned territory.
• Co-operate with distributors to implement sales and/or marketing activities/programs in the assigned market.
• Co-operate with distributors working with their customers such as retailers, contractors, specifies to gain some key sales & marketing objectives in respect of sales volume, market coverage, retail chain-efficiency and so on.
• Build up networking with construction companies, contractors, specifiers, board of project management.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration / Management Studies / Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
• Having a minimum of 1 years working experience in sales will be an added advantage.
• Possess basic materials and market trend knowledge
• Knowledge of cemen and concrete technology or building materials
• Knowledge of latest product trends and activities
• Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills for reporting and presentation purposes
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent
