Requirements of the Job:

Knowledge & Skills: 

• Good financial & investment knowledge, with qualifications issued by CISI, CII or other relevant professional body (desired) 
• Previous experience working in a sales/marketing environment (outbound/ Inside Sales/Email Marketing/Telemarketing etc. role) preferably within financial services (desired) 

The Executive, Development is part of the Development team, which aims to enhance the financial resources of the Singapore Symphony Group. The Executive, Development will contribute to the work of stewarding patrons from philanthropic and corporate organisations and individuals by supporting donor relations and working on events.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration

• Donation processing and issuing receipts related to donations via Salesforce
• List generation via Salesforce: pilling and compiling leads from existing database; highlighting individuals and corporate donation up for renewals
• Maintenance of donor and donation database in Salesforce
• Draft and send personalised Thank You emails/letters from time to time
• Reserve, distribute and track donor benefits according to agreed patron and sponsor benefits
• Compile quarterly donor acknowledgement lists, and update the SSO website, concert programme booklets, and donor wall situated at Victoria Concert Hall
• Compile quarterly donations for inclusion in management reports
• Assist with letter shopping and e-mailers

Engagement

• Respond to Patron queries and requests in a timely manner
• Draft and send communications such as:-

1. Concert/company information update to donors and;
2. donor invitations: collate RSVPs and follow up

Others:

• Any other matters arising which would be essential in keeping sponsors, donors and potential donors delighted with the professionalism of the company
• Assist in any other development, promotional, or publicity events for the company
• Occasionally provide cover for colleagues during their absence
• You may be assigned to take on additional roles and responsibilities in the Department when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree holder any discipline
• Minimum 2 years of administration, customer/guest relations or related work experience. Experience in donor relations would be an advantage. Senior Executive position available for highly qualified candidates
• Strong communication (written & English) & MS Office proficiency; fluency in other widely used languages is an advantage
• Excellent people skills, able to interact with people from different backgrounds
• Experience with Salesforce donor management software would be an advantage

Job Title: Operations Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team. As an Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily operational activities. Roles & Responsibilities

· Singapore Corporate Income Tax

Computing and filing of clients’ estimated chargeable income;

Examining audit work papers or clients’ management documents and audited/management reports to ascertain the clients’ chargeable income;

Using tax software to input data;

Completing income tax returns online and its filing thereafter;

Attending to IRAS’ queries and drafting a reply for the client’s approval;

Withholding tax compliance;

Advise on corporate income and withholding tax matters;

Handle ad-hoc duties such as due-diligence, tax provisions preparation, attending to tax audits and advisory (including restructuring, cross-border issues and transfer pricing) matters and attending to auditors’ queries on tax related matters.

· Individuals, partnerships and trusts Income Tax

Determining the assessable income using tax software;

Completing tax returns online at IRAS’ portal and its filing thereafter;

Meeting with clients and

Advise on income tax matters

· Goods and Services Tax

Knowledge of GST is an advantage but experience is not necessarily required;

Computing and filing GST F5 quarterly returns;

Application for GST registration and deregistration and

Advising on GST matters.

· Property Tax and Stamp Duties

Basic knowledge. Experience not required and

· General matters

Duration of contract: 2 - year fixed term contract (renewable)

Key Responsibilities of the job:

1. Manage daily cash collection, reconciliation, and accurate recording of receipts in the financial system to maintain comprehensive accountability.
2. Oversee the matching of accounts receivable and bank reconciliation, and audit schedules.
3. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O' level passes or its equivalent with bookkeeping or accounting knowledge.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
