Job Responsibilities:

-Supports Operations Manager (OM) to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

-Monitors and tracks school’s facilities, and operating system/equipment, to ensure they are in order. He/she will follow-up with the vendors/Term Contractors (TCs) to ensure defects are rectified.

-Conducts daily check on school’s perimeter, building and infrastructure to ensure school safety and put up the fault reporting.

-Works closely with the team of Operations Support Officers (OSOs), TCs, contractors, service providers such as security guards, cleaners, vendors, and contractors etc. For example, he/she will lead the OSOs to set up the venues for school events such as examinations, meetings etc

-Provides administrative support to OM such as tracking of contractors’ work sheets, maintenance, and procurement.

-Liaises and corresponds with the external agencies such as HDB, Town Council, TCs, Managing Agent, and LTA contractors to ensure school has a conducive environment for teaching and learning.

-Any other duties as assigned by OM pertaining to school’s operation and safety.

Job Requirement

-At least 1 year experience in facilities or estate management or similar job scope

-Experience in school environment, or similar, is advantageous but not mandatory

-Some technical skills in Building and Mechanical and Electrical services

-Basic understanding of fire safety or facilities processes

-Good oral and written communication and able to communicate effectively with vendors and different stakeholders

-Proficient in basic Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
