NIE invites applications for the position of Manager, Programme Development & Strategic Partnerships in the Office of Teacher Education & Undergraduate Programmes (TEUP).
Key Responsibilities
The Manager will support the Associate Dean, Programme Planning and Management and Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in the planning and management of the PGDE programmes.
The duties include the management of operations and resources for classes and academic activities for the student teachers in the PGDE programmes, building and cultivating partnerships to develop mutually beneficial collaborations that will support TEUP programmes and strategies.
Duties include:
- Administration of Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme.
- Administration of Content Upgrading courses.
- Support and assist the Associate Dean, Programme Planning and Management in programme-related matters.
- Secretarial duties.
- Data governance policy manager for the office.
Requirements
- A university degree.
- At least four years of relevant work experience in student support and/or programme administration, preferably in a tertiary educational institution.
- Strong in administration, meticulous and good organizational skills.
- Experience working in a process-driven position.
- Good analytical skills to deal with work issues.
- Motivated, resourceful, able to work independently and as a team player, under pressure.
- Strong writing skills with experience in writing reports and handle secretarial duties.
- Able to work on occasional evenings and weekends, as required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experience working in a digitalized environment.
- Teaching experience in MOE schools would be an advantage.
- Experience in operations and management especially in an education institution would be an advantage.
