About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated International Brand Manager to oversee the growth and development of Alpecin for the Asian region, focusing on 4 key markets: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies, ensuring alignment with global objectives while catering to the unique dynamics of the Asian market.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Marketing with developing and executing comprehensive marketing communication and media strategies that align with the brand job to be done, leveraging both traditional and digital channels relevant to the respective markets to drive sustainable brand growth.
- Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitor activities, analysing those data to make informed decisions about brand positioning and strategy.
- Work with creative and media agencies to develop and execute impactful, localised, and fit-for-channel content and assets that are consistent with brand guidelines and compliant with local regulations.
- Continuously monitor brand performance and analyse market data where available to make timely adjustments to the brand communication and media strategy to achieve maximum impact.
- Define the positioning of existing and new products, including defining target audiences, promotional strategies, and key messaging.
- Develop and manage brand budget plan, ensuring that marketing budget does not exceed the agreed media ratio for each market.
- Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders including internal and global Marketing team, Sales team, and external agencies to achieve brand and company objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of brand-building experience in a multinational FMCG company.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creative flair.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity with a positive attitude.
- Motivated to test boundaries, take risks, and explore innovative approaches to achieve brand growth.
- International mindset with fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
