Job Description:
• Support, challenge, and team up with Head of sales department in pre-bid, bid and closing phase to secure projects.
• Responsible for drafting, preparing the bidding documentation and other necessary sales activities.
• Act as the Company internal contact point for customers to support sales inquiry and bidding process.
• Attend customer sales meeting as subject matter expert.
• Communicate with designers and experts to develop best possible conceptual designs.
• Responsible for organizing all sales engineering deliverables throughout all sales phases (starting from pre-bid) until the hand-over to the execution team.
• Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers.
• Provide responsive and competent after-sales and technical support to new and existing customers.
• Response to customer questions and requests in a professional and efficient manner that is consistent with the Company values and financial objectives.
• Acquire market intelligence and share with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the sales pipelines and CRM systems.
• Prepares regular sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
Job Requirements:
• Min Degree/Diploma in Engineering or other related fields.
• Sound technical knowledge and experience in baggage handling systems (BHS) industry or cargo handling systems (CHS).
• Min 5 years’ experience in sales engineer field and versed with tendering and bidding process;
• Proficient in AutoCad, Navis Work, Revit, Visio, Microsoft Office.
• Able to work on various projects in various sales phases simultaneously.
• Strong in listening and analysing customer requirements.
• Possess good presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally.
• Must have good problem-solving ability / attitude and time management skill.
• Must be comfortable with high frequency of business travels.
• Very good command of English language (written and spoken).
