As the Regional PR Assistant Manager, you are responsible for press communication and activations to drive brand awareness, traffic, as well as building media relationships. ​ In this role, you adapt global brand initiatives for regional markets to secure press coverage, media engagement, while growing the brand community across all digital and physical channels.​

What you will do:

• Lead PR agencies in the relevant markets to ensure that opportunities are maximized and manage the media enquiries
• Work with Regional PR Manager, develop and implement localized communication/PR/media relations strategy for the markets
• Establish workflow and asset co-ordination to provide the local PR agencies with all relevant brand info and strategic updates such as PR plans, press releases, imagery, samples, seeding plans, and suchlike

The team is responsible for managing the commercial relationships with some of Visa’s most complex and highest growth partners, as well as developing the fintech sales narrative, tools, packaged programs and deal support required to ensure Visa are the partner of choice for all Fintechs across Asia Pacific.

What a Senior Manager, Fintech Business Development, Digital Partnerships does at Visa:

• Execute our Regional Prospecting Strategy: In collaboration with the functional head, execute on delivering a defined strategy to find new opportunities for Visa’s growth in the AP region, including but not limited to content creation, research & analytics, addressable market mapping, and industry engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gets under the skin of the client’s business and its objectives and becomes their partner
• Team lead for day to day running of accounts, with planners and executive reporting into them. Team management experience will be very beneficial

CNBC International is seeking a high-performing individual to drive strategy and business development for the world’s leading business news brand, in SEA & ANZ. The CNBC International Commercial group is a small, high-impact team within CNBC International that partners, internally & externally, with C-suite executives to retain and/or pivot existing revenue streams, and fuel long-term growth. We’re looking for a collaborative thought leader, with a keen understanding of our industry trends, to lead CNBC’s distribution & business development efforts across select accounts and/or markets.

This role will have responsibility over the P&L of Distribution, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), and Digital revenue (for select SEA & ANZ). The role is supported by local agents, by the Distribution Analyst (APAC) and the Distribution intern for whom it holds management responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the SEA & ANZ commercial sales strategy and plans.
• Identify and monetise every distribution opportunity in SEA & ANZ across all operators (cable, satellite, IPTV, telecommunications, digital, broadband, and mobile).
• Execute full sales process from negotiating deals and contract terms to managing the launch of new services.
• Research and synthesise market data to identify and evaluate new business/ investment/ partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate directly with the Business Development Manager, International to proactively grow (build pipeline) licensing revenue, across different content formats, and identify new forms of content licensing opportunities.
